A little about Fashion and Style Edit
With so many outfit ideas and style tips swirling around my head I needed an outlet to share all that information! How to style outfits in a new way that you might not have thought of, or sharing how you can truly interpret the fashion trends in a really wearable way. I guess I have quite a classic style but with a love of parisian chic. I like neutral outfits, elegant, timeless pieces and sharing how you can really get the most out of your own wardrobe. Essentially, I just love helping people and fashion is what I know, inside out and with my eyes closed! So if you finish one of my videos feeling a little bit inspired with a few outfit ideas you know will make you feel great, well then that makes me very happy indeed:) Thanks so much for being here.

Good morning, I hope you're all having a wonderful week:) So today as the title would suggest it's all about Sezane with everything you need to know about this beautiful French brand. What to buy, my most worn pieces, and the items I should have left behind, finding the right size in knitwear, jeans and blouses and why it's one of the only brands that can get me wearing something fluffy! Essentially it's an in-depth review with a big dose of Parisian chic and I really hope you all find it helpful:) Which is your favourite Sezane item I have? Hey Jess, lovely collection. The Chlo is always my fave. I don't own any Sezane pieces....yet. Been thinking about the Brut Sexy for a while as I've ordered and sent back about 10 pairs of jeans recently so maybe more expensive ones will work better! What length are yours? Sorry if you said & I missed it x
If something I need doesn’t come in silk, I would much rather get Ecovero or Lyocell than polyester, recycled or not. My skin just can’t tolerate the plastic, synthetic fibers and they don’t breathe at all, so they causing sweating. I like wearing any fabrics of the cellulosic fiber (rayon/viscose) family, but the original production techniques use a very toxic, cyanide-based, manufacturing process. Cheap, fast-fashion rayon/viscose is still breathable and soft, but is usually very thin and poor quality, with limpness, wrinkliness and puckering. It can be improved slightly by ironing it with sizing (I like Magic Sizing spray). Better brands, like Sezane, offer much better-quality and more environmentally-friendly options. Nevertheless, I hope Sezane brings back some of its beautiful silk selections this spring, I love the ones I have.

I love their knitwear . Such beautiful details on their pieces. I just bought a pair of straight leg jeans which have yet to arrive , so still waiting to see if they are a good purchase or not. I have the lace version of the Chlo blouse which I love.

You inspired me a few years ago to buy some sezane pieces and now my closet is full with them! I just love the details and colors❤ recently added the pink and grey Martin in my usual size but they have too much fabric in the front. Maybe should have gone a size smaller like you. The more snug fit looks way better. Well maybe my tailor can help 😂

It's hard with this job for me to actually have so little clothes but in those videos I like to share the key pieces I'd have on my rail if I could only choose 20 or so pieces so hopefully you'll find those helpful too:)

@@FashionStyleEdit hmmmm good question. I have an elevated sweatshirt with a gold zipper front that I wear alot. Probably since it’s more casual. I don’t see it on the website anymore so I don’t know the name. It’s not ribbed but similar to the Salome.

Oh no!! It's so sad isn't it, my cat does that too and looks so chuffed with himself and I want to run a mile! Out of interest does your cat make the strangest noise when he brings in your 'present'? Mandhu has this really distinctive noise that i just know when i hear it I'm going to find something awful haha!

Thank you for sharing! I also love Sezane, almost always stick to the more simple, classic, neutral / solid color pieces. As much as I adore their prints and those beautiful laces and details, while they do look lovely on me, I just don't reach for those pieces for some reason, I guess just not my style.

I felt as if we had a coffee together discussing about clothing. ;) That high neck shirt is lovely on you. Try wearing it with your hair up and long earrings for a more evening look, and with a black or brown cardigan on top and wide leg trousers for a more casual look. I have been loving those Khaite cardigan lately even though they are horrendously expensive. :) Love the way you wear your cardis. such a fresh take on a classic piece. Always stylish.

I have some pieces. Unfortunately my brut sexy pair aren't my favorite. They are stiff and bunch up a bit around the torso. Not sure why. I am petite and thin but everlane has never been an issue.

That mouse story was hilarious.. I can so related 😂.. we had a mouse last winter and I was beside myself!!!!😮… you’re so right about helping with dishes etc .. his teacher told me Chris is a whizz at working a Baristo coffee machine 😮 I had no clue .. apparently he is the go to in the school cafe !! I love sezane! I don't know the sizing well. I think some of it may run a bit small for me. I'd love to be near an actual store so I can go try it on. I'm not a sender backer. Too much hassle. The pieces I loved were the navy blazer and the black jeans or pants. That surprised me how classy it looked to mix those dark colors together. They did not clash. I bought a beautiful Sezane white wool sweater from Sezane a couple of years ago. I thought I was so special wearing it, but it itches around the neck so much. I wear a turtle neck under it. And it is tight around the middle.

You wear everything beautifully and for the anecdote, it pleased me to see that I have the same Mia in sky blue too and a white one, which I love. On the other hand, the Chlo is a problem for me, because I often have the first button at the top popping off as soon as I take off my jacket or coat, which annoys me. Iit leaves me disheveled if you like..., hum But I don't have a huge bust either! So it doesn't happen to you? Anyway, thanks a lot, this video makes my day!

Hi my lovely, thanks so much for popping by:) Okay I have a little bit of extra experience to add to this as I recently tried out the long version too v the regular. I'm pretty much the same measurements as you I'm 5ft7 and a half but I would say I have a long torso. The regular 28 on me is definitley cropped, but not stupidly so. I sized up once to the regular 29 and it didn't work, just looked a bit daft. The tall on me is like a traditional straight leg jean with a very tiny bit of gathering on the hem. The tall might possibly feel too long for you so I would recommend going for the 28 regular. Hope that little waffle helps lovely, let me know how you get on:)

I would say it’s because polyester is still polyester, recycled or not. And it doesn’t breathe on the wearer, or die in landfill

Thanks so much for watching Kate:) I seem fine with the Gaspard most of the time to be honest. At the moment my eczema is pretty bad so I've mainly been wearing my knits with long sleeve cotton tops or similar underneath but when i'm not having these flare ups it doesnt itch me suprisingly!

For the pieces you don't so often wear maybe it has to do with the colors as well. Black as you say ans white. Maybe ecru suits you better?

Hi Elizabeth, I've actually got both in my wardrobe now. For reference I'm nearly 5ft8 and I would say the regular and like a traditional crop on me whereas the tall feel like a true full straight leg jean where say with trainers I feel the need to do a tiny turn up. Hope that helps lovely:)

That one is from a brand called Essential Antwerp. It's pretty old now sadly but you might possibly find on their website:)

How come when I check the item on Sezane the material is different from the one your showing for example the blazer? Just asking .

I purchased the chloe blouse from sezane. It arrived with the sleeves and shoulders crumpled. I hung it up overnight and it is still unwearable. I’m going to send it back. I noted it was made in China.
I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with the Chloe, would the creases not iron out? I've always found my Chloe blouses iron beautifully, even after a wash in the machine. I don't think there's anything wrong with being made in China, if the factories are ethical in their practices and audited and verified as such which I imagine a brand like Sezane would stipulate upon:)
Disappointed that the Missoma pieces I like are brass and gold plate, not vermeil as advertised

Where is the top from underneath the pink cardigan? I mean.. its the whole outfit that makes it look good. You don't mention everything or list everything down. Im sorry but this is so annoying.. a lot of influancers do this, they only mention that for what they get paid for.
