I remember there was a lot of animosity between rock and roll and disco when disco came on the seen. I think it was mostly because of John Travolta prancing around like an overdressed pretentious rooster. The fact is, there was good disco music and awful stuff (Disco Duck, etc.), so many rock and rollers were closet disco fans of the good stuff (which were actually Ballads, which is what the King of rock and roll, Elvis, excelled at). If it sounded good it sounded good, especially with some of the best singing, a lot better than the rock and roll singers, I mean let's face it as good, as great a guitarist EC is, not the greatest singer (as far as pure singing goes, perfecting the voice as an instrument). Which clearly Yvonne is the real Barbara Streisand. could be her voice was too perfect, Too Beautiful for her beloved rock and roll... .... and after what happened to rock and roll in the 1980s, it probably was a blessing in disguise.
I have always been a HUGE fan of Yvonne from the beginning. WOW her voice is awesome.
Really wish this would have focused more on Yvonne’s impressive body of work instead of Eric Clapton’s. She is a legend in her own right.
Awe poor baby. Do your own interview.
