      Hi Lynda,
Thank you for your comment! I'm glad you found the advice on workstation ergonomics and the best sitting posture when working at your desk helpful. I agree, it does feel so much better when our posture is correct. For so many years I was uncomfortable when I would work at my computer workstation, even just for 15 minutes, and when I learned how to set up my computer, monitor, etc and sit appropriately I was amazed at how my body wasn't in pain anymore.
      Take care!

This is super helpful! I have been fighting with SI joint pain for 3 months. I stop feeling the pain, after I adjust my sitting posture. I find that it’s hard for me to maintain this posture while driving. Any tips for driving posture ?

Great video. Very useful. Does the padded wedge have to be firm or soft? Any material preference?

      Hi Carlos,
Great question! The padded wedge is ideally a more firm material. We are using it to cause the seat pan of the chair to tilt slightly forward to help the hips be above the knee joints. That helps hold the pelvis in a position that allows the rest of the spine to relax. So the more firm and supportive the better for the padded wedge.
Here's to feeling great at your workstation!

Question : do you recommend padding in the back?

I find that it is more important that the seat back is more vertical vs. how much it is padded. A lumbar support (that is mild) can sometimes help a person to maintain a more neutral spine when seated, but shouldn't be relied on for good posture. Thank you for your question!
