It's better to be versatile than sticking on being only bottom or top only. It's more enjoying to feels both sides of the world....
Someone once said, "To be a good top, you've got to be a good bottom," and I personally love being versatile very much (although some total tops and some total bottoms can be very selfish in bed, but to each his own). When I'm bottoming, I'll let the top do all the work while I lay back & enjoy the ride lol (I shower, but although water enemas are very effective, I don't douche @ all. I prefer to drink colon cleansing juice, which works wonders for me). When I'm fucking, I take it nice & slow first, then speed it up (I'm 10.5 inches cut, but I don't like hurting bottoms at all and I don't force it in at all. If they tell me it hurts, I'll pull out immediately and I won't top them at all and I completely understand). What I personally love about giving head - all throat, no gag reflex and no hand usage at all. Important tips to bottoming: Get eaten out before insertion, make sure to breathe, focus on the pleasure, it's going to hurt at first, try sitting on his junk (gives you control and allows for max pleasure), if you feel like you need to go to the bathroom -- go to the bathroom, make sure to go #1 and #2 beforehand, taking a shower before it all begins helps.

I think it's the other way around. The top is usually the more active one and having to get into multiple moving positions can be rough. But also at the same time it takes too much prep to bottom and I just can't get into that. Girls are a lot more low maintenance when it comes to actually having sex, but they require more work to get into the mood. I've been with guys and girls and to be honest, at the end of the day I would be perfectly content with just some hand stuff.

I've always said every top should at least bottom once. Some tops are horrible because they don't know how to make the bottom feel comfortable.

I disagree I’m top vers, and trust me having bottomed before I can deliver the range of experiences, from vanilla love to hard and rough.
Douching or using an enema is counter productive preventing transmission of STD. (There is no fluid that is better or worse here) You are removing some the protective mucosa and GI flora that acts as physical barrier. Also, Truvada used as PrEP concentrates in the mucosal barrier of rectum. So, in effect you are increasing your risk. I agree you should listen to your body and eat foods good for bottoming, fiber not fatty/greasy or gas causing (may be different for each person). Drinking plenty of water to keep the stool loose and not watery or hard balls helps the rectum empty well without strain (causes hemorrhoids). A good shower, cleaning externally and just inside the anus (1") should be sufficient. Using a good lube and plenty of it increase the enjoyment for both top and bottom. I like the lube launchers. If you do use an enema or douche the mucosa will be somewhat dried due to the bodies attempt to balance the water in the colon. It's especially important you use plenty of lube to avoid tearing the rectal mucosa. Lube launchers are great for this purpose. Being a bottom, gay, and a medical professional I hope this helps.

Oh does anyone else use a turkey baster to clean out other than me? buying enemas from Walgreens can get really expensive so I just use the baster and cold water and in like 3 squirts my man-gina is squeaky clean. Also don't use hot water because that can stimulate you to have an involuntary bowel movement and over doing it more than say 3 or 4 squirts can actually make things messier.

Look, I love Davey and anyone who is gay. I don't have a problem with it, I mean, why would I? I'm gay myself. My problem, when it comes to gay men, is making their sexuality a BIG part of who they are. Don't get me wrong, I understand that being gay is just part of a person, and that's ok. Just like how black hair is part of a person, makes sense. What I will never get is making a persons entire life based on one thing. It's like being 1 dimensional, no we're humans and we're very multi-layered. However, on the flipside, I will give Davey this, that he does bring up issues about gay sex most men would never bring up. So, I have to give him that because every so often, if I am curious sexually, I do go to his videos. So I dunno, with Davey it's a coin toss for me. Good sex information though.
It's funny because straight guys are always doing the same thing with girls, but for some reason they get a free pass.... I am sure the problem with excess douching anally is the same as vaginally...imbalance in naturally occuring properties.
