Lovely, enthusiastic review. I have this lens as well as the Viltrox 20mm f2.8 and 85mm f1.8 for my Nikon Zf, as well as several Nikon lenses. The 16mm is a really fun lens to use.
I just got the 20mm yesterday & this 16mm looks a definite winner for nighttime cityscapes, my only wish is that it was even wider 12 or 14mm. In general the lack of Nikon fast wide primes needs to be addressed in their range. Otherwise I’ll need to but the Sony 14mm GM & adaptor or Laowa .
I just wish they stuck with the design of their other 1.8 lenses and not added a screen. Your video has an annoying hissing noise. Seems like an unlubricated swinging fan or something.

It might be "too wide", but look into the Laowa 10mm/2.8 Zero-D lens -- full frame & AF.
@@karyleianawildernesscapes I have seen this & it’s certainly will have it use cases but maybe not as often
I'm curious if the top screen would be too distracting for astro
Possibly, but I guess you could cover it with a small piece of insulating tape.
I suppose the optics of the Nikon version are identical to those of the Sony version. The results should be the same.
