Having gone to boarding school, I love that your boys are having this opportunity. It is only now 30 years later that I finally understand how hard it was for my mother though. I hope you enjoyed Burghley, we had a fabulous time on Friday, with maybe a little too much shopping.
I'm so sorry a few people feel it necessary to post unpleasant messages. It's difficult to know whar motivates them - if they don't like something, surely they can just switch off. I thought I'd mention how I experienced last week's vlog. I had joined my daughter and her family for the last week of their holiday in Menton in France when I had a stupid accident in the sea and ended up spending a whole week in hospital in Monaco. I was feeling jolly sorry for myself when I decided on Sunday afternoon to catch up with your latest episode. The opening sequence with the little dogs running along an English country lane in the sunshine, and the accompanying sountrack really helped to restore my good humour, and sense that everything was really OK with the World. It couldn't have been more comforting to me. I am back home now, with a story to tell, but I wanted to say thank you - I watch every week and enjoy each new story, but that one viewed from my hospital was really special. x
So thrilled to hear that you have 8,000 subscribers Charlie, and very glad for you that the new house is really shaping up. We have been trying to move and relocate for over 2 years now and the last few months have been incredibly stressful. Listening to you share your story and hearing your kindly words of wisdom is a huge help - thank you for your generous spirit.xx
@@ask.charlie lovely, thank you, I had my bedroom decorated a year ago with a feature wall, and am at a loss what to paint the other walls. Have done them white for the time being but that looks too stark, so am exploring other colours. Everything I have looked at so far doesn't look right.

I love your vlogs, Charlie! I look forward to them every week ❤ I'm 28 and I'm learning so many valuable things from you - I've even started horse riding (my childhood dream) because I'm so inspired by you. I would love to join the members club one day!
It’s all looking so lovely and you’re doing a brilliant job improvising a kitchen… it’s the heart of any home and so tricky when it’s not functioning but nearly there and I love the green, its going to look fab when it’s completed. So pleased the boys are settling in back at school and that they’re happy, it’s so important regardless of what other people say , you know your children and their happiness comes first. I’m so sorry to hear you’ve had negative comments , you’ve had so much going on & we’re extremely grateful that you’ve shared it. I think you’re brilliant, so stay strong & just ignore them ! . Charlie, I recently discovered your channel and watched a few of your previous videos. I can already see what a caring and loving person you are. I could listen to you all day.
After your last video and admiring your shirt I went to the WNU website and bought a shirt. I am sold. I always admire your shirt sweater combinations.
Lovely vlog as always. So pleased your boys are settling in well and enjoying school life. And hope Coco’s first few days were good too. Enjoy Burghley, would love to go one year, looks amazing.
