Weekly Vlog: Anniversary Lunch, Sugar-Free Lifestyle & Charity Highlight! (Plus Elderflower Cordial)

- This week was eventful! It began with celebrating our wedding anniversary with a delightful lunch at a lovely local pub that we shall absolutely be returning to, followed by some wonderful time in the garden.
I gave Dr. Jart’s BB Premium Beauty Balm a go as it has high sun protection for my hyperpigmentation - so far, so impressive! If you’re after a product that combines high protection with great coverage, I highly recommend it.
I’ve started The Kinder Plan with Charlotte from Balancore Nutrition to address my sugar intake, which was beginning to get ever so slightly out of control. Biscuits are my weakness! Cutting the sugar has been tough, but the plan has helped me regain control and I’m feeling better every day. If you’re in need of personal diet direction with kindness and understanding, Charlotte should be your go-to.
I’ve got a few Santana updates for you, as we continue to work with her to support her needs and address concerns, plus an elderflower cordial and granola kitchen takeover!

Happy Anniversary! I saw an excellent tip a few months ago to help get fluffy towels without a tumble dryer - simply give them a good hard shake from each end before hanging on line/drying rack. 100% works, takes a few moments and they are nice and fluffy. 😊

Happy anniversary! Top tip try drinking a glass of water with apple cider vinegar in the morning before you eat breakfast. It really helps to kill the sugar cravings during the day, and it worked for me, good luck!

Wild Star - you have inspired me to go to the White Horse again soon, the food looks wonderful. There is a fascinating if not terrifying recent Steven Bartlett podcast about sugar, how toxic it is & how we are all manipulated by the food companies. I am so with you on cutting it out as much as possible, good luck. Where is the shop that sells the kefir please? Cowdray is a little too far to drive to just for that as I don’t want to be tempted by all their other goodies. Have a fantastic holiday & I’m sure Santana will really benefit from the break. She’s learnt so much this year that a couple of weeks off will be really beneficial & help her to process it all. xxx

I am interested to know if you find that you make much money from making granola jams etc. I just wonder as I used to sell baked goods and found that by the time I bought ingredients, packaging and electricity etc it wasn’t really worth my time. I hope that’s not too personal to ask and no need to share specifics obviously, I would just be interested as to your thoughts !
