- Professor Pratap Bhanu Mehta’s brief but multi-faceted account of the history of India from its independence, in 1947, up to the present day. "It is particularly important," says Mehta, "to de-exoticize India and try to think of it in familiar terms." These engaging remarks were delivered at the 2024 Camden Conference.

He is too imbalanced. One sided view of present current Indian dispensation. The current government is not perfect but not what as much this man shouts about.
when you are sponsored for scholarship 😂😂 degrees take a backseat and loyalty towards agenda starts
We are not western or liberal. The western world and liberal system is built on slavery and colonialism. The institutions who acquired money through slavery and colonialism are still leading the western world point of view. We should be strong and independent in policy making. Western culture is not good for our society. Dont forget what our forefathers fought for. Be a proud indian , proud hindu, proud civilian of our ancient civilizational. If there are any mistakes or wrongs, we hindus and indians will always correct it to lead a good life.
Shameless lying about Modi agenda. No government leader has said would reclaim four thousand temples. This speaker is so desperate that can't refrain from lying while maligning Indian government today
