We are not western or liberal. The western world and liberal system is built on slavery and colonialism. The institutions who acquired money through slavery and colonialism are still leading the western world point of view. We should be strong and independent in policy making. A good opinion. But excluding russia is never an option for india. Even if with ups and downs russia will still remain a strategic partner of india. From resources to militry technologies and civilian nuclear facilities russia will remain a major partner. Due to historic and present US double standards india cant fully trust US.
