1. Happy Death Day 3 - Basically everything you said I’m onboard with 2. A sequel to Child’s Play (2019) Thanks to Mid M3GAN we won’t be getting a sequel even though the ending of the 2019 left room for more 3. Season of the Witch - So much lore to explore with Samhain and Silver Shamrock or what’s the world like now 40 years later after a lot of children were sacrificed and it’s that time again for another one 4. A sequel to Summer of 84 - iykyk with that ending
Some sequels I would to see: Barbarian 2 and Summer of 84 2. Zach Creggar, director of Barbarian, has said he plans to make a sequel to the 2022 surprise hit, but there is a video game adaptation in the works. I'd love to see a sequel to Summer of '84, and I even have a premise: Ten years after the events of the first film, the survivors of the previous film are college graduates easing into careers and finding girlfriends and wives, when Davey starts seeing signs that Mackey has come back to finish what he started. Tommy and Curtis come back to help Davey finally put an end to Mackey's murderous ways, and to avenge their friend Woody. For titles, I'm thinking...Summer of '94?
Great choices! For me personally I think the Children of the Corn franchise is the black sheep. Most Hellraiser films are actually quite decent especially 2022. I truly hope that we get a good sequel eventually.
I assumed there was going to be another Hellraiser. I would be happy if they just came out with a different version of being in Hell and Hell on Earth.
1000% on Trick R Treat 2. I have been following that development since the whispers back in 2009/2010. I give my friend a hard time stealing Michael away from the horror community to work on the Godzilla films.
With Evil Dead Rise making both it and Evil Dead 2013 in the same universe of the OG trilogy, I need an Avengers Style team up of Ash, Pablo, Kelly, Brandy, Mia, and Beth. Bruce did say he was done playing Ash, but then he later said he would come back if Sam directed and the script was good. It would be a perfect final send-off for Ash.
Trick r Treat sequel would be fun as a period piece 1700s or something Sam could be up to his usual and the other stories could be other monsters instead of a werewolf maybe a vampire or instead of a school bus "accident" it could be a haunted house a la Amityville with a brutal slaughter... I would love a sequel to Candyman '21
The guest 2 has a lot of potential. I was a little surprised they didn't flesh out or even allude to the government programs purpose more in the original. I am shocked and grateful my most wanted sequel is actually happening, They Follow. I can't wait. I'm predicting Jay has fallen into prostitution out of paranoia and self preservation. Authorities could think there's a serial killer on the prowl but in the back of her mind she will assume a darker culprit.
The collector series needs that third movie!!! It cant end like that!! Gimme more of The Guest! Cabin in the Woods all day needs a sequel! That movie blew my ass out, it was that good lol! I want a Lords of Salem 2! Love hate him, Rob Zombie tried something different with that one and it worked on me!! And we need a return to or remake of pumpkin head! No ifs, not buts, no maybes! Just make it!!! Great Vid!
I think perhaps we don't get a Trick r Treat sequel because there is beef between Warner's, Legendary and Michael Dougherty. I mean, not giving that movie a theatrical release, letting it sit on a shelf for two years just to (allegedly) piss off Bryan Singer creates some bad blood. Cabin in the Woods though, no excuse. Except the world ended at the end of the movie. Ah screw it, if Loomis can come back for Halloween 4 then anything can be retconned. Think Happy Death Day is better off being a one and done, felt the sequel over explained and a third movie will feel like a Blumhouse cash grab.

Summer of ‘84. Great recommendation.

I still really want to see a sequel to the child's play 2019 remake
Great list! The sequel I need is Creep 3!!
I NEED Hellraiser 2 expeditiously 😭

The only sequel we need is f13 !

Definitely need Trick R Treat 2. That movie was too good to not have a sequel. Need more Sam
The only sequel I want is the true sequel to Scream 6. With Christopher Landon directing. Guess he'll just have to direct Happy Death Day 3 instead.
Not a horror movie but I really want a sequel to DREDD (2012)

I would love a sequel to Candyman '21
Great list man it’s a shame the Hellraiser 2022 didn’t get a theatrical release
I would love to see the sequel to 100 tears, super underrated slasher

Agree with all!
I’ll add a sequel to F 13 (2009).
