Used to live in the area over in Dittmer, then Festus. Always loved to pop over to the festival for their delicious, once a year, apple butter. I would say they rival the well known Musselman's Apple butter. It's great. Miss living up there. Maybe next fall, my merchant Marine son will be home off the boat and we can make the trip north to see the old neighborhood and visit this beloved village and festival. It's a great time and a delicious one too! 😋😋😋😋😋😋
