I like how the game warden calls instead of sending someone out, & knows the ramp is shit. Really shows where they’re putting all those license fees and tickets
One of the best parts of Maine is how we make things work. Sometimes it takes a little redneck ingenuity and elbow grease, but we get it done. Plus, that boat launch keeps the spoiled and entitled away.
We’ve launched our 14ft Jon boat there.. it’s sketchy and the rocks seem planted lol. Seems like they could be moved for better access but the people around the lake don’t want it.
My favorite part of fishing in Maine with a guide is that, over the years, they've memorized where every rock and log is in every lake they fish. You see the unexperienced guides hitting dead head after dead head while the older guys are weaving in and out on their path with their eyes closed.
bad ramps are everywhere. I followed one to veazie, big paved lot..and not even making it to the river in any way. I now keep a kayak on one arm and the fishing pole on the other. Carry it all.
@JayLee-od8ob I've cut new trail before. You get a sledge hammer, and hit it over and over till it breaks. This removes the rocks poking up. Smashing rock sucks.
Idk what it is but I find northern smallies hang out in grass and on sand more then anything. On super calm mornings I’ll fish frogs for smallies in the pads and it might be one of the most fun fishing styles ever also when the wind ripping over shallow sandy weed flats I’ll burn a swim jig through the weeds and hammer them I caught 23 in an hour doing it on the same spot that’s only about 100 meters long
I would go to that location in my free time if I lived up there just to dig those rocks up from that terrible ramp and put down a layer of some good 1in crushed rock. I honestly can't believe that DNR would know how terrible that ramp is and not do anything about it
As a Mainer I can’t get enough of your Maine videos. You’re always so respectful of the state and our fish. I always appreciate that! Can’t wait to see some Ice fishing videos
When people complain about unhooking a bass with treble hooks I think about all the times I’ve caught big pike on a jerkbait and didn’t have pliers. Or unhooking a big striper at night after your headlamp dies and you have to do it by feel.
Under those conditions that would never happen in New york on any pond if the water is 81° they aren't biting unless u deadstick anything u throw n have the patience of a bhuddist monk 😂😂
I mean if id really want to use this ramp in the future I'd bring my own bags of clear stone and or river rock bags to even it out. I'm just that type of guy that doesn't mind spending abit for things like guaranteeing the integrity of my boat and trailer. Lol cheers wieners!
Tyler is a vibe fs, you just know he's happy just being out there
"82 Degrees is too hot for these fish" : laughs in Florida bass

There could be a better ramp on the lake up if not then I do think my state should definitely fix the ramp specifically if it’s a public fishing ramp
There are thousands of ramps on the thousands of lakes in Maine. You can't make every ramp perfect.
@@iflanzybut you CAN make them look less like a bunch of playboy models laying on the lake shore...
@@iflanzy you can definitely not make it a pile of large rocks
Glad to see you posting again some more ! YOU TRULY SET THE GAME FOR QUALITY WHEN UA-cam FISHING GOT BIG! Time for another devils river trip ???
That is the single handed worst ramp I’ve ever seen! It was funny to see you launch the boat after you failed last time 😂
We’ve launched our 14ft Jon boat there.. it’s sketchy and the rocks seem planted lol. Seems like they could be moved for better access but the people around the lake don’t want it.
Sounds about right
100% put there on purpose. People around me do this to the ramps. I use the kayak in there anyway.
I can see them destroying the ramp to keep out anyone that needs a trailer to launch.
why would people do that tho
@@JTOO12 people get very territorial around water..
Ain’t nothing that can stop a man that wants to go fishing. Another awesome video man 👊
That’s no longer a boat launch, that thing is a cartop loading area lol
I’ve seen some bad boat ramps in my days but Christ! That was probably the worst I’ve seen 😂👏🏽❤️
Thanks Jon ....Good Show ! ..... Team Googan For Life !
In the south it would have been more like a “hold my beer and watch this” type of moment 😂😂

good ole boy Tyler!
I wish you would have interviewed Tyler to tell us some of his story of how he got to the elites.
Jon 😭😭😂at 18:19 I hope you said mainer and not what I thought you said
You’re an inspiration brotha. Keep doing you
Glad you avoided big bills lol! Thanks for an amazing video as always!
“Notice how I put pounds there” 🤣🤣
Didnt see anyone waitining to use the crap ramp when you got back. All in all a daring good day of fishing. Thanks Jon ❤
that's not the message here, it's about respect for others to launch and have equal access
You still don't get to just park at the ramp. It's so entitled
This is so much more than a fishing channel.
That first 1 was a BEAST 💪🦈🙂...
THE MAIN EVENT !!!!!!
The mini revolver has been absolutely killing it up here in Maine right now 🤘🏻
I love when cheeky Jon b posts
bad ramps are everywhere. I followed one to veazie, big paved lot..and not even making it to the river in any way. I now keep a kayak on one arm and the fishing pole on the other. Carry it all.
Get into some walleye content Jon!! You’ve already mastered the bass time to get a 15lb walleye!
Too hard bass are easy money!
@@cowbway8462 walleye are fucking stupid
Let's GO FISHING Y'all!
Much Love Jon B!
more uploads Jon PLEASE 🙏🙏
If you ever get up to New Brunswick, let me know! I'm there on vacation, and drove through Maine. I didn't see any road signs for Camp Whiteclaw. lol
Good ol' Jon B monday postage! Love it!
Hell yeah, happy you went back to this spot and persevered
Awesome video man 🎣🎣🎣🎣
Can’t wait I’ll be in Maine in 2 weeks fishing 🙏
Sick video hope to see Tyler in more when he’s not crunching them on the elites
ive caught smallmouth in 2 foot of water beside reeds with an s-waver in canada i thought this was somewhat normal
same way here in Eau Claire Wisconsin, shallow and Rocky
Your baits got me into fishing I can’t believe u live in the state I’m from now that crazy to me u chose up here keep it up man!
great stuff, JB; I can see Tyler really had a blast fishing with you.
Are you posting the video of you fishing that charity tournament anytime soon. Love the videos❤❤🎉🎉
Let’s fing go!!! Never been this early to a job b vid
That tundra in four low will rip that boat out like nothing back er on in lol
Dude my local pond the large mouth must do that cuz half my hits are on the side
Love this type of video!
I would have told the warden "yep i know the homeowner called you and he was in a yard with a launch" 😂. Guess he likes being a Karen 😂
Great vid Jon! Keep proving em wrong 🤙🏼
Maine fishing is super fun.
Awesome content thanks for sharing this with us 👍👍
What spinning reel combo do you use?
I fish in maine its my home state haven’t gone out much this year but I love fishing here!
I got it, rear skidplates for trailers and the ability to jack up the rear for clearance...boom million dollar idea
Man im glad its not me trying to launch in a rock garden
Dude, keep some of those to eat. Tasty as hell and if eaten fresh, no worse than a walleye
I definitely would be trying to move some of the big rocks out of the way that is sketchy
90 percent of the rock is in the ground. That's just tips poking up.
@JayLee-od8ob I've cut new trail before. You get a sledge hammer, and hit it over and over till it breaks. This removes the rocks poking up. Smashing rock sucks.
Know the exact boat launch!
lake tobesofkee in GA has 84 degree water, good largemouth
Guarantee there’s a couple spring’s in that shallow water where they were getting the smallmouth bite
Man you need a beater jon boat for exploring lakes like this lol
Idk what it is but I find northern smallies hang out in grass and on sand more then anything. Love the channel jon b
been waiting for this
My off roading brain is saying to just SEND IT
hey jon will you teach us on video some knots for line & lure ? thx !
Jon my friend, you are slowly becoming a Mainer!! I enjoy all your Maine content. Makes me miss my home state.
Get a chop saw with a diamond blade for cutting concrete and cut them big rocks down low.
Bring some sand bags next time
Digging deep inside for the motivation to hit the honey hole this morning... Perfect conditions here in NE ohio ... Top water calling my name
Im too weenie i wouldnt have even attempted that ramp ill go to a different lake lmao ive launched on some stupid ramps but that one takes the cake
Where do I get a popper like that?
Great video Jon!
7:26 “is she 14? YES SHES 14!”
you should build a dope ass ramp and charge for the gps location.
Any update on the Pond at the Maine Cabin?
I hand launch there all the time…..one of the worst ramps here in Maine!!
looked like 2×6 not 2×4 .. maybe not tho. love the channel jon
You should just come out to Lake St Clair. The boat ramp is more maneuver able.
he ddid avideo fishing a tournment with Ryan on Lake St.Claire. WAs a two part cut, from maybe two years ago. Worth the view.
@@Job0121 I've seen it. Doesn't mean he can't come back
come back when you're 5 lbs . Almost got in trouble with that last time .. lmao i was dying laughing.
Where you get that blue camo
Hat?
Have you fished Toledo or Sam Rayburn recently?
The Sun dolphin 110 PRO dig xD
does your yota have 4x4?
My local spots it’s the second one😂
I would go to that location in my free time if I lived up there just to dig those rocks up from that terrible ramp and put down a layer of some good 1in crushed rock. I honestly can't believe that DNR would know how terrible that ramp is and not do anything about it
Looks like your only staying fishing the down east no venturing to southern Maine?
As a Mainer I can’t get enough of your Maine videos. You’re always so respectful of the state and our fish. I always appreciate that! Can’t wait to see some Ice fishing videos
To bad he isn't respectful to the local people or fellow fisherman. Bout like having a spoiled teen that thinks he can do whatever he wants.
I’m in North Carolina I can’t go fishing right now it’s flooded 😢
That’s why I got 33” mud tires on my trailer
When people complain about unhooking a bass with treble hooks I think about all the times I’ve caught big pike on a jerkbait and didn’t have pliers. Or unhooking a big striper at night after your headlamp dies and you have to do it by feel.
I’d be finding a better ramp. 😮
That’s a nice rig to be chancing it.
Yikes!!!! That's crazy 😮 the ramp that's sketchy Jon b
Not a ramp, it's the shore.
Bad boat ramps are my life
Wonder if the guy giving you crap maybe put some boulders on that ramp to try and prevent people from using the lake...
i thought the same thing
he did seem to think it was his lake, lieing like that and all
Please 😂 he was there to put all those rocks in when the lake formed 10,000 years ago
Under those conditions that would never happen in New york on any pond if the water is 81° they aren't biting unless u deadstick anything u throw n have the patience of a bhuddist monk 😂😂
Garmin bought Delorme, a mapping company that already had that retail store in Yarmouth before Garmin bought Delorme. Garmin isn't based in Maine.
" do you have 4x4"😂 look 2 feet to your left bud. Tailgate might answer your question
This why I fish from a kayak lol
I would have just grabbed a shovel, and picked those rocks right out within the hour...
Love me some Lettuce
Dude is that the barefoot bandit? Tyler rules he smashed on watts bar, which is not easy to do.
I mean if id really want to use this ramp in the future I'd bring my own bags of clear stone and or river rock bags to even it out. I'm just that type of guy that doesn't mind spending abit for things like guaranteeing the integrity of my boat and trailer. Lol cheers wieners!
might've probably been easier to just pull those rocks out
