I absolutely love watching Matthew and Monty. His channel is very therapeutic and friendly.
If I may recommend to you...?? "Ashwagandha" taken by capsule three times daily brings the whole body back in to balance. (Naturally, check with your doctor to make sure it is safe for you.)
I have been using this for only two weeks; however, I felt fantastic just after one capsule. For me, it immediately addressed insomnia, anxiety, stress, migraines, and depression.

Another thing I noticed about this video: A lot of beautiful shots and extended moments that seemed even more cinematic than previous videos (which is saying a lot). Like that extended shot of Monty laying there while Captain Teeny Trout was playing in the background and the sleeping pad sneak attack at the end of it. So great! Changing it up in awesome ways.

I got terrible news yesterday that made me feel numb and dead inside. I needed to stop thinking and having thoughts racing. I came across your video with your two pups camping in the snow. It was three hours long. When I tell you it brought me comfort and relaxation watching your video. And now I’m hockey watching you your mattes and your pups. Much love from California.

Love watching you and the Mont but I gotta say, I'm really looking forward to winter. This year rather then just lay on the couch in my cozy blanket and watch you camp, I plan to do a hot tent trip during our first winter storm of the season. It will be my first winter trip ever. I'm very excited. I'll have my little budderbean (my dachshund) to keep me safe (warm). He's very warm and cuddly for a little guy. You have inspired me to keep living and trying new things. I suffer from fibromyalgia and degenerative joint and disc disease and for the past few years haven't left the house much. Just like to say thanks and keep doing what you do. Rock on brotha!
Looks like Capt Teeny Trout has a promising future teaching bushcraft fire starting skills, especially in wet and windy weather. Lol. Lots of nice fish you caught, and some yummy cooking. Thanks as always for all the behind the scenes work you do to post your adventures.
You might consider aluminum foil packets for cooking the veggies one trip. Chop 'em up, put 'em in some heavy duty aluminum foil, add a sprinkle of water, season to taste, seal them really tight, and toss them in the fire for 20 to 30 minutes. Use TONGs (or sticks) to take them out of the fire and they'll be ready to eat. Minimal clean up needed, just scrunch the foil up into a tiny ball and toss in the recycle bin back home. Works great for potatoes, carrots, etc. and the water inside keeps things from burning while the veggies get steamed.

Another great 3 and 1/2 half hours spent with Matt and Monte and friend! Gees that frog orgy really resulted in some offspring! That was crazy. And also thanks for the amazing video of the dragonfly coming out of it's shell and flying away. I've never seen that either. What a great opportunity to film that by chance. Glad the fishing was good.

I watched all of the video in 2 parts. I paused it halfway, went to do work then came back at dinner and finished. It was worth it! What really cracked me up was Capt Teeny Trout trying to light the campfire. My favorite was seeing the dragonflies. I know all about them, but never witness one coming out of the water and changing. It takes anywhere from one to five years for them to become a adult. Depends on what kind. That was a AWESOME camping trip. Thank you Monty, Mathew and Capt Teeny Trout!

Here’s how you make southern style s’mores:
Same ingredients that y’all used but you wrap them in aluminium foil, place close to coals, rotating them every little bit.
Not only do the marshmallows melt, the chocolate does and the crackers toast.
Try it, you’ll love it.

Wonderful video, thank you! When you cook your potatoes, and they're done add the egg directly to them to cook, it's a type of omelet called a frittata, you can also add vegetables to it. One pan meal.

Thanks for another great video. Using a Monte bark to bleep out the cuss words has me rollin'! OMG! That's hysterical! I hope the eucalyptus lotion & permertherin spray works for you. I apparently didn't spray my clothing or gear well enough and got eaten alive. Got bitten right through my clothes. The picaradin lotion didn't work or again I didn't use enough. My citronella incense did more good than anything. You guys make these videos and make all this camping & bushcrafting look effortless. I'm stage 4 cancer but I get out there anyway. Been stage 4 since 2016. Liquid vitamins, organic vegan protein shakes & bars, and plenty of rest and plenty of exercise. I developed a whole new set of muscles & lost 20 lbs on my last camp out for 3 days. Thanks for the inspiration! It's a lot more fun in the winter. The heat really took it out of me. I had 2 USB powered fans to get me through the nights & hot days! and a solar panel to recharge my power banks. And I cheated and sprung for a cooler. Just went for ice every day for my Gatorade.

Awesome! Hopefully you get a Moose on the Louse! I've only gone that way once. Hopefully you'll be avoiding the crowds there! Awesome hahaha! I have heard there are good walleye on trail lake if you get lucky enough to claim that camp site! I was too exhausted to fish by the time I set up camp there!
@@MatthewPosa Yea... we will be staying on trail lake the second night... We are doing the loop in reverse so we can get the 1.5 mile portage out of the way at the start... Hoping the water is not to low!!

Hi Mathew - Im here in the Catskills in NY deer hunting, day 2. If it weren't for me watching your videos a few months ago, I probably would't be here. I am partially disabled, haven't deer hunted in 13 years, I never camped in a campsite before a couple of months ago, and I havent't fly fished in 15 years. After discovering your videos I started ordering camping supplies even though I thought I was finished with stuff like that. Everything started with a day trip to NW Connecticut's Farmington river with a fly fishing shop on one of their day trips to different fishing spots in the tri state area.
I ended up going back on my own exploring that whole area while camping at times. On Nov 1, I moved up to Norfolk, Ct from Long Island NY, full time and have already fished a bunch of the awesome lakes and rivers up there while trying to figure out how to do it effectively due to my limitations caused by my bad legs. For example, after seeing an old timer fly fisherman walking away from the river carrying a foldable camping chair, I did the same and ended up putting the chair right in the river. That works great for me! Thanks for giving me the inspiration to give it a shot in the first place. -- MM

Couldn't stop laughing when you were starting a pad fight with Monty, but stopped because you thought you might be ruining the Captains "ambience", and then, I could swear, Monty walked towards the Captain as if to say "what's your problem teeny trout" - then another time when you were filming Monty snapping at flies in the boat and started mimicking him, again, I swear, the look he gave you was as if to say "are you taking the piss".
