  • Skip to 1:45 if you find the head camera too shaky. I got the tripod out after that.
Part 1 of my Takegawa 210 build. Part 2 and 3 will have a lot more description of what is going on, but for Part 1, I think I'll just leave it to the garage sounds.

Awesome Stuff Aaron, you sure know that engine inside and out, the gaskets just peel off.

Just have to ask what did it cost to do and why not just go with a zs212 all ready done? they come complete with everything including oil cooler direct replacement 600$ my even have extra parts.

This is much more powerful and reliable than a zs212. The zs212 is only about 20hp, where this build is up around 34hp. For the zs, you also gotta factor in the mounting brackets and efi stator to make it work. In Australia, it also makes life easier retaining the matching engine numbers instead of swapping

@@mongerrr zs28 HP and you could get more but both would be unreliable any single cylinder past 30hp is. I can see the matching numbers thing and ya it cost a little more to keep it f i and bracket less then 250$. The Oil cooler cover and cooler are going to coast that much. with a swap you can keep the original engine and its reliablity matching. if you blow it up there goes matching numbers. with out a cooler I can't see it being more reliable Wich I can't see it really bing more or how it could be with a bbk. I think it would cost more the original. A swap you still have the original for back up or resale value with matching numbers. I only asked because of the price no one has given a good answer for me to change my mind sorry if I affended you not intended have a great one till the next one 👍👌✌️🛠️🏍️💯

@@josephsaucedo8691 no offence taken. Build the bike you want, not the one someone tells you to.
The zs is still good bang for buck. Also, the 28hp you mentioned is for a Daytona anima 212, not the zs 2 valve.

@@mongerrr ya I no Daytona makes one I also no alot about Daytona/z's 190-212. I built my own no one told me to/or how its a zs212 with a Daytona head and hi compression piston and it also has a koso fuel injection and aracer ECU i also put a quick shifter and slipper clutch with hydrolic shift it's in a clone grom frame. I managed to keep the build under 3500$ a few parts were used but nothing internal I would love to build a original Honda but can't justify the price to build one just because of my clone build. A person on UA-cam form Australia called me out about it untill one of his subscriber how lives close to me confirm it for him im Surprised he went that far to find out. Thanks again for your time and reply hopefully we talk again great day 🏍️🛠️💯👍👌✌️🥂
