On point! Adding my two cents. The hydrogen which is used for carbon cleaning is a highly combustable mix and steeply increases the pressure inside the combustion chamber. This is bad news for valves and seals. Every engine has mechanical tolerances to which the manufacturers push the design limits, metallurgically. Petroleum and diesel engines have different tolerances where Diesel components are comparitively more sturdier and robust for sustained high pressure combustions charges. Now hydrogen is not comparable with either petroleum or diesel fuels because it has lower flash point and will easily combust before the piston reaches the top dead center (TDC). Premature combustion caused by hydrogen gas causes microfractures inside the cylinder and cycle parts including piston and pins, slowly but surely weakening them. So the point to be noted is influencers (not all, but some) make a living selling snake oil - don't trust everything you see on the internet.

Hi bro, I loved the video and really appreciate the effort you put into delivering such high-quality content. I have a question: In many videos, influencers show before-and-after shots of engine decarbonisation where there's a noticeable difference in the exhaust air. How does it happen?
Nice explanation bro...To further add, whatever you burn, you get a carbon particles formation on exhaust pipe in black color..excessive formation of carbon reduces the combustion efficiency when u recirculate which is the reason behind reduction in performance and efficiency.. Carbon formation is less in naturally aspirated petrol engines because of absence of EGR.. Carbon formation is not as serious issue as it is hyped for business..It has no considerable side effects to the engine..Hence, avoid carbon cleaning in the centres which is of no use Clean the EGR unit and do periodical service properly which will maintain the engine healthy!!!
Apart from what Fazil has suggested if you still feel engine is a bit dull, and you predominantly drive in the city and sedately, take it to highway and gun it down for sometime. Italian tune. Engine and Exhaust will have some excess soot and carbon deposit burned down.
To avoid the carbon deposit always maintain the engine rew in 2nd 1/3rd limit , For example if the RPM gauge red line start at 8K than maintain the RPM between 3-5K. It will also improve the drive quality and the engine wheel connect.
Apdilam edhuvum illa bro, neenga regular oil maintenance and usual driving pannaley podhum. Normally its is better to hard rev the engine to get removed all those carbons out through the exhaust. Turbo irundha dhan veliya thallura gas thirumba ulla anupuvanga to increase the efficiency, for natural aspirates engine that won’t be required!
@@imdsv If the rev was low, the cylinder would give enough time to remove the completely burnt gas which leads to settling down the burnt carbon particles. The oil has nothing to do with the compression chamber, Its only job was to lube the cylinder. If the rev is high, there will not be sufficient time to settle the burnt gas on the head and the valves, which leads to a complete flush for any engine. High rev does not mean it will clean the existing carbon deposit. It will avoid the carbon deposit further.
Good info. I believe the machines they have will work better on GDI engines where the Air fuel mixture doesn't clean the valvles so there's soot formation on intake/exhaust valves. Not sure if it's the same for turbo-petrols as I own an Infiniti M56S which has a 5.6l V8 naturally aspirated and is quite notorius to build up soot in the valve area. I believe I can either remove the intake manifold to expose the valves then walnut blast the valves to clean the soot or do some kinda decarbonization.

Great Info bro..!! Like you said, BS2, BS3 Emission norms made way to EGR which in long run leads to carbon settlement in the EGR , Manifest etc, Appo ippo irukkura BS6 Diesel engines ku lam EGR irukkadhu dhane because we have DPF, DEF and other Mechanisms in the BS6 for Emission norms! Appo won’t there be any carbon formations in the new age Diesel engines? If Yes, then adhukku enna Vazhi? if its a long explanation, Oru chinna reel Pottingana It’ll be very Helpfull.
