John is really getting into the dying. That is so awesome! You two have a very well balanced and healthy partnership. Love watching you work together while creating such cool fiber. 😁
It's always fun when your significant other partakes in your hobby. Often they give you another perspective on your craft. Happy to see what you have created together!
It is so amazing to watch these videos and see the difference in the finished fiber from what it looks like in the pan. I really love John's yarn from the ~20 minute mark!
John's expression for the thumbnail is like..."we are about to blow your mind" lol....then it starts and he's just fixin' his hair LOL. Oh wow, that first one turned out way different than I expected it to. The blues reminds me I want to do some more platinum. Looks like there might be a few oldie but goodies? and what looks like some non-reproduce-able ones maybe? Fun new space. I have my desk from around 4th grade lol. I'm sure it will be nice to not have to mess up the kitchen anymore :) I like the same one as you. Loving all the braids.
Beautiful colors, I enjoy the calmness of your dyeing videos and thank you for storing your dyes in rainbow order! If it can be put in rainbow order it should be, makes me anxious when colors are out of order. Lol
Y’all are just the cutest! My braids of River rocks revisited just arrived today; it was cool to see them being dyed. Thank you John for creating such beautiful colors!
I so enjoy watching you (both) dye. (that sounds weird) The Dye Dungeon looks like it's going to be a really fun space. I'm so grateful for all you do in your journey that you allow to benefit the rest of us either through inspiration, knowledge or actual products. ❤❤❤
@@FiberLoveDiary nothing wrong with humble, a lot of times those are the best, room to grow, a blank slate to make it whatever you want it to be. The possibilities are endless!!
Omg you and John just dye up the most amazing fiber and I absolutely love the dye dungeon its great I'm so jealous 😍 and those yarns you dyed up wow thanks for sharing all this with us trish much love and big virtual hugs xx ❤️
It was awesome watching y’all dyef fiber! I really enjoy your UA-cam and have been following you religiously. I love the warping stick I got from you. The Rambouillet I got from you is incredible too!
You guys come up with some amazing combinations in color. Your dungeon looks really roomy. The more time you spend there the more you'll get the feel of where things need to be. Some of the most amazing things have come from "humble" beginnings. Have an amazing time at Rhinebeck!
Oh my gosh I’m so excited for my first yarn purchase from you, Trish! The skein you said you might keep was my favorite also. Much to my surprise it was in your shop!! I guess you changed your mind and I’m so glad you did. Can’t wait to receive it when you get back from Rhinebeck. I don’t knit or crochet but I will somehow use it in a weaving project. 😍👏🏻👏🏻
Love the new dye center! So much room to work. A question for your Q&A sessions in the future. I have a question about using a base color. Noticed on a few of the dyes it was started with a grey or lavender. What is the specific purpose of adding these colors under the main color? Does it mute the colors, or is it to cover the white that sometimes doesn't take the color up like the rest of the wool? Have a great time at Rhinebeck, glad John got to attend with you this year and I hope he enjoys every minute of it. ❤
Hopefully someday. I'm worried about moving one down the steps and they are really expensive. I hope I can swing it in a few months. I think it would be a much better way ❤️
That's a nice surprise, one moment I see you in a car on your way to Rhinebeck, and the next moment you are back dyeing! That's not the dungeon though, is it?
I noticed that you dont clean your spoon between colors. How do you not worry about getting another pigment in the dye and changing the possible over all color?
Loooook at your new space! I’m catching up, slowly! Work is getting in my way of all this fun!!!
I would love to spin all of them! Beautiful!😊
John is really getting into the dying. That is so awesome! You two have a very well balanced and healthy partnership. Love watching you work together while creating such cool fiber. 😁
He is definitely refining his technique and enjoying it more and more.
It's always fun when your significant other partakes in your hobby. Often they give you another perspective on your craft.
Happy to see what you have created together!
He is so smart and thinks things through but the path is always different from mine so I learn a lot from him.
Welcome to the dungeon!!! What a great dye space - a new place for the magic to happen!!
It is so amazing to watch these videos and see the difference in the finished fiber from what it looks like in the pan. I really love John's yarn from the ~20 minute mark!
We love you Trish ❤❤❤ You and John amaze me with the dyeing process and how beautiful it all turns out.
Your dyeing videos are some of my absolute favorites! Especially when I'm having a hard day, they just make everything better.
John needs to become a full time fiber dyer, he got that natural instinct for color!
I'll tell him, but I think he's going to stick to design work except for some dye fun once in awhile 🤣
Fascinating! Now I'm going on to your carding and spinning video. Thank you for sharing.
I love watching the colours getting poured onto the wool. Love the dungeon too, great light and so much space!
The space is nice 😉
I'm not a dyer (yet!) but I *love* watching what y'all come up with! and GREAT new space!
I love watching you and John dyeing together. Congratulations on the new dye dungeon! I predict much goodness will come from it.
Thank you!
You both are so cute together!
We love you, when John is dyeing with you we love you guys more! Such lovely colours emerge from the pans 😊
It's fun to do together! Thank you!
I love the dungeon! As fascinating as it is to watch the dye process, I especially love the little high-speed Luther cameos in the background!
🤣 never far from my feet
My goodness, John is talented! As talented as you, Trish! Such beautiful colours!
He is definitely very talented. You all don't know the half of it!
Great to watch you both dyeing in the dungeon, thanks!
Wow! How exciting to watch you both experiment with colors and the end results are gorgeous and great surprises. Congrats on the dye studio space!
Wow! You both have knocked it out of the park! Enjoy your time away. Blessings.
We're having a great time so far. Thank you!

Love your sock yarns. Hope you show us how they knit up.
I only kept one Hank for myself but I promise to show it!
Yup… I had to have some of that Targhee fiber. 👍🏻
So much beautiful fiber!! You definately need to keep your honey, any man that is willing to sing in his wife's podcast is a keeper!! ;).
He really has a nice voice but he doesn't sing that often 🥰
I really love that orangy one...Way to go.
Congratulations on the new shop/dungeon. The tribe is going to love all those braids!
❤️❤️
Beautiful colors, I enjoy the calmness of your dyeing videos and thank you for storing your dyes in rainbow order! If it can be put in rainbow order it should be, makes me anxious when colors are out of order. Lol
I had them organized by brand and color at home, but I decided to skip the brand now. I think this is actually better
You two are so cute! I couldn’t stop laughing at the intro. Love the new dyeing dungeon.
Y’all are just the cutest! My braids of River rocks revisited just arrived today; it was cool to see them being dyed. Thank you John for creating such beautiful colors!
We were totally cracking up before filming and we had giggles. 🤣
Thanks

Thank you so much! It's a humble beginning but I can afford it and it's a lot of SPACE! ❤️ I really appreciate you!

Drying, fluffing and braiding is magic ❤️

Thanks! It's nice to make a mess and not have to clean it up to make dinner 🤣
Your colours are delightful, everything needs that pop of yellow/orange :)
So much inspiration, thanks guys xxx

You two are both as talented and creative as each other. So cool. 😊❤
I just love watching the whole process ❤ you two are so cute together
We have a lot of fun.
Learning so much! Thanks
Your dye space will be awesome. Very pretty braids.

Awesome video, loved seeing the dungeon, lol
Hopefully it'll lead to bigger and better.
love this episode so much!!
❤️
I love those greens!!! 😊
I'm not usually a green person but I kept one of those to spin in a video later!
@@FiberLoveDiary Yes!!! I can’t wait to see.
You could use a proofing cabinet. Congrats on your new dye space!
Hopefully someday. I'm worried about moving one down the steps and they are really expensive. I hope I can swing it in a few months. I think it would be a much better way ❤️
Socktober pretty yarns!
Thanks! I don't dye yarns as often as I'd like!
Love BFL silk
The intro singing was STELLA!
He can really sing ❤️
Watching the dying was like a visual asmr.
That's a nice surprise, one moment I see you in a car on your way to Rhinebeck, and the next moment you are back dyeing! That's not the dungeon though, is it?
This video was scheduled last Wednesday, but the driving one was impromptu. 🥰
Oh wow I need another job so I can spend the money on at least half of those braids!
How do rinse them out and keep the roving together?
I noticed that you dont clean your spoon between colors. How do you not worry about getting another pigment in the dye and changing the possible over all color?
I don't worry about anything. In my experience, tiny amounts don't do enough to worry me.
John reminds me of mark ruffalo
😍
