Buying more farming plots would have been efficient farming fortune. Visitors with rabbit and blessed hoe would have given a lot of farming xp, also mushrooms are the best crop for farming xp. You could also get your strength up so that you would get more coins/hour than elephant (also mushroom drops which are good coins too)
I have some tips for you 1. Instead of spending irl money you should turn all your jerry talisman into their legendary form and sell them 2. Your farming equipment is very weak. You should spend money on max visitor equipment with green thumb 5 3. Minos relic is better for mooshroom cow pet 4. Do visitor to gain copper and buy crop upgrades and basic composter upgrades 5. Unlock all the plots for an extra 5 fortune per 6. Use lantern helmet when using an axe on mushrooms, melons, pumpkins and cocoa beens 7. Finally put sounder 5 on your axes if you haven’t already for 60 farming fortune Keep up the good work. Love your style of content. Have been watching you since before you started the hard mode series back when it was hardcore.
Did he completely forget about Green Thumb 5 on his equipment? For me i farm Cocoa beans with 1379 ff making around 14m/h (im still missing 2 plots and green thumb 5 i only have it on lvl 4)

Garden update "Recently" releasing Edit: You should have had a leg rabbit pet (level 100) and done visitors while opening jerry boxes, it would have been faster, and most likely gotten you to garden level 8-9
He had to spend time on garden leveling up anyways so it would have been faster because you don't have a 100% chance of garden xp per jerry box. If you were to open 9 jerry boxes, on average you should get 20k farming xp. In the time it takes to open up 2 jerry boxes you can get 5k xp from visitors
yeah but he was trying to do it in as little time as possible and visitors only spawn once every 5 mins at the quickest on a solo profile, so even if he had garden lvl 15 (which he doesnt) it would still take around 20 hours just to reach farming 40 and that's if you're actively farming mushrooms at max rates.
He didn't use mooshroom cow with the Chimera V Axe 😢 :for those that don't know, chimera and the axe copy the pets stats, not the perks. Mooshroom cows 130 fortune is a stat, so they get counted, but elephants fortune comes from the perk, so it doesn't count. This is all without including green bandana, which is actually the reason that he was even getting any fortune at all from using the elephant pet and the axe together. *gasps for air* : Edit. I'm stupid he literally did it in the last 3 mins...
If you wanted money... you should have 1) used a mooshroom cow for all of them, 2) just farmed melons, 3) corrected your speed using rancher's boots, and 4) sold to npc. Bazaar sells for less. P.S. Mushroom is one of the best crops to farm.

If you are using deep strider 3 on the melon farm you have to have 290speed but if you are with deep strider 2 you need 420 speed(black cat glitch) so you can break the most blocks/s
