The two of you discussing ball is my favorite sports analysis duo.
Thank you so much!!
Great show, as always, Matthew. Manny is great too.
13-4 #1 Seed in the NFC.
Who do you have the four losses to?
If they beat the Texans they will be in the spotlight for sure ,
What if Vikings and Sam Darnold are the perfect marriage?
Good start, long season. I hope they improve along the way and stay healthy then we'll see where things go.
This was definitely not a win by accident... the turnovers are a concern but if in two more games even witn a loss if they still look this good in both games I'll be all in. 4 and 0 they are a super bowl contender.
The Vikings are good, period. Are they going to win the Super Bowl? No of course not, but there was nothing lucky or fluky about their two wins. They dominated a bad team, something this franchise hasnt been able to do in years. Instead of a major let down, they went toe to toe with one of the best teams in the league and just beat them straight up. For that win they didnt need a series of unforced errors like for example, the Falcons just needed against the Eagles.
This is how you know Minnesota is good, something they havent been for a long time.
The Vikings are always going to have a chance to be a top ten team with the Dual Head Coaches that they employ. If Kwesi keeps listening to his coaches, this is a top franchise. This team can beat anyone, as long as the injuries aren't massive and/or too many
I have to admit I was wrong. This team is much better than I thought. The defense is so sophisticated. I think it’s the future of defense. The way they move is incredible. I believe they’re going to cause problems for all the good teams this year. In the offense is much stronger than I thought. This team can beat anybody.
There is NO WAY you can put Dobbs and Darnold in the same sentence...lol Remember Darnold was a number 3 pick in 2018, and where was Dobbs picked? I'm not even sure he got picked at all.
Correction: it's the defense Kirk Cousins is giving them. They wouldn't have been able to sign Greenard, Van Ginkle, Cashman, and Gilmore. Maybe 2 after Hunter walking but not all 4. Flores tried to run this style of defense but didn't have all of the players to fit his scheme
After seeing Bears/Texans, I'm not afraid of either of those teams. I honestly think there's a good chance we start like 12 and 2 😂 maybe losses to Lions and Cards, but I could see us winning either of those too
Yes and yes
It wouldn’t surprise me if they went undefeated. This defense is going to go off this year. Think about it these guys are they n there first year together. They’ll will get to know each others tendencies and that will make them better! By the end of this season barring a lot of injuries.(knock on wood) Houston is going to be shocked by this defense.
I dont like to go back and think about my preseason opinion and adjust it every week. Theyve impressed me on a game to game basis for sure. Once they exceed my ceiling of 9 wins then ill say allright i was wrong lets see how far they can set the bar for this year. What i predict or think will happen is fun to do every week and its fun to place small bets and watch it play out. However its totally irrelevant and im not worried about being right or wrong, about any team. I made quite a big bet (big for me not relative to the entire market) that the Chargers would go under 8.5 wins. That looks dumb right now, but i dont really care. If im wrong oh well right. Im still enjoying the games. I know im rambling, i just dont like to see people go through these giant emotional shifts every damn week
sam darnold, son of the marlboro man
No way they lose to Houston. The defense will completely confuse Stroud.
I can see the vikings going 12-5 and winning the division if all the key players stay healthy. Once Hockenson comes back, and if he is in the same form as he was in the past I don't see many teams beating them. This could be the year we go to the NFC championship game. It could be a rematch of San Fran here at US Bank stadium. We all know that we have their number here, so we will beat them to get to the SB. I'd love to see a rematch of Houston versus the Vikings in the SB. If that plays out, I can see the vikings winning the SB. If that happens, there is no way they dare let Darnold go and sign him the a 3 year deal
We haven’t truly had Addison back 100% either.. We are only getting better..
Keep turnovers to a minimum and the sky’s the limit. Remember we aren’t even at full strength yet
Yes, Caleb Williams is this bad
Right now he is. It's Chicago though, he'll have to figure it out. I think he will
Why are we talking about the Seahawks as if they're good? So far we've seen them barely beat the Broncos and Patriots, both of whom are teams with minimal talent, vying for the number one pick.
If the pass rush can be effective enough to frustrate Diggs, he will start whining and hopefully disrupt the Texans' offense.
Maybe I'm wrong but I believe Darnold playing on those 2 horrible teams then hoing to San Fran and here to Minnesota i believe he shows maturity and turns into the star the Jets thought he'd be when they drafted him. We resign him to a 3 year deal after getting to the SB and either McCarthy stays as a backup or they trade him and get draft capital
Ho-ing 😂
The Vikings are going to have a letdown next weekend. Darnold will have at least two picks. Vikings will lose by at least two scores. I honestly hope I’m wrong.

Coach KOC is dumb at coaching. That play call where Sam Darnold threw interceptions was dumb. I see KOC making more bad calls throughout the season.
Yeah, he dumb, he no good. He make Sam throw bad pass!
If you are willfully ignorant, seek education. If you're just making up random shit to get a dopamine hit from the responses, seek therapy. Take care of your brain man. It's important. Wish you the best.
Sam Darnold sucks.
What are you even talking about
What if Vikings and Sam Darnold are the perfect marriage?
