@@Soldier_of_Life wow, that's fast, then you are working structured, I would need two months, haha. If you want some further inspiration, I just saw this randomly today ua-cam.com/video/k05M0HQ5pPU/v-deo.html (if you don't like links in the comments, you can delete this comment, no probs)
Once upon a time when I was 12yr old military brat...I was very close to here. It was the picturesque view and landscaping of Germany that I still remember falling in love with. I made a promise to myself that if I never had children I was going to go back. And I did! Germany is a beautiful country and each time my husband and I would ( before corona) I would get all giddy inside at the thought of spending a weekend in Koln or someone nearby. At 47yrs old still no children (thankfully lol)I can honestly say that I am living in my dream. Thank you for sharing...this video took me back.
Schön, dass Du hier bei uns bleiben willst. Auch ein tolles Video! Wenn Du nach der Pandemie wieder reisen willst wartet hier in Bielefeld ein Bier auf Dich.
How funny.. stumbled across your channel and see you out in Amberg. I lived in Graf till meeting my better half but still work there. Great camera work and cuts
Okay. This is worth a 'Like' for me. Not only was I amused about finding a video on UA-cam about my home town. It is also the best PR video I've ever seen about the town. Better than the stuff the town council is trying to start as PR. Great job man.
I miss Amberg so much. I immigrated to the US in 2018 and live close to Washington DC. I am used to the life here now but i still think about Amberg. (I am actually from Oberfanken not the Oberpfalz :P)
Very professional video, wow! I love Amberg, a miniature copy of Regensburg in my opinion. I used to live on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring in an old historic apartment overlooking the street, and the building was built right between the wall that goes around the park-castle grounds. Nightlife was great then also. How is it now? Your child is beautiful! Happy Mother´s day to your significant other! :)
Hi Kris! Glad to see you´re well.Super video. As always, well reseacherd.Nice to know where you have decided to live in Germany.I just have to check where Amberg is located (sorry, as a German) I hope you can keep your life in order, during this time.I just can speak for my own, but I think Germany loves you.I also think that your is good enough to speak it more in your videos.Be confident.
It's so interesting to see my hometown form a new perspective 😍 it seems so much more beautiful 😅 It feels like I can't really value it cause I've akways considered it as a matter of course Thank you for this video 🥰
Although I know you didn't mean that your daughter was bad news the phrasing caught me off guard lol but you meant basically the transition into fatherhood after you were just free from the responsibilities of your military duty. Great video
I know he is not the inventor of the drone shots but it reminds me a lot of Nalf. 😉 I think this was a lot more work than usual with all those cuts and color grading and getting the right clips. Great work!
Cinematography was quiet good, maybe some map of Amberg in Germany, or a Map of the city centre, to get an idea how things relate to each other. And to attract people to go there, you need more attractions than looking at buildings. Like what to eat, where to Hike, swimming, canyoning, canoeing, bicycling .. how to spend the day there.
Great work! Loved it! One small suggestion, but it REALLY is a tiny one: maybe do your commentaries more ad-lib like you've done in the previous clips I've seen of you.. sounds a little more natural! Can only agree with the other comments about the excellent cuts and little clips and well matching music. Keep 'm coming, I'm sure to come back and watch them.....
wow, good job! pictures and cut are amazing imho, must have been some work. For a more natural speaking you could try to learn the text by heart and to record it while standing (like voice actors or singers do). That will give you a better expression. I've never seen and learned that much about Amberg before although I pass it 3 to 4 times a year when I visit my parents in the Bavarian Forest... looking forward to your next projects!
Hey Kris I’m in the army and stationed in Germany and I’ve been watching your channel for a while now. I’m close to ETS and I want to live in Germany permanently. I was wondering if you could make a video about how to do that. Vielen Dank im Voraus für ihr Verständnis und ihre Rücksichtnahme 🙏🏾🙂
where are you stationed? I'm sure army housing services office (off-post!) can also provide you tons of information on how to get a foot in the door and they are always ready to help - at least in Wiesbaden ;-)
carbon-based lifeform I was actually stationed in Wiesbaden when I first came to Germany but then I got transferred to katterbach because of lack of personal in my MOS 😭 I’ve been stationed here for almost two years now and my extension to stay for my last two should get approved soon especially due to COVID so yeah I’m just trying to figure out the best ways and things I can do to end my ETS here and become a full fledged citizen of Germany
@@pharaohtaylor3391 2 years stuck in katterbach and you still want to stay - you, sir, just won my utmost respect. 😄 There are a lot of videos on yt of experiences how to become a citizen or just a permanent resident. But I would recommend the official way starting at the "Landratsamt". They can give you reliable information on how to proceed…
Sorry I keep commenting a lot I’m just really passionate about this subject and I believe you are the perfect person to help me 🙏🏾 thank you for your consideration
Because I am in the army and stationed in Germany close to my ETS date and I was just looking for tips of what I need to do to become a permanent resident here
Good to know about you. I'm living in Amberg too and my boyfriend is an active military

Idk what a babymomma visa is 🤣 but i have a family visa lol
