I had never heard of this tool until I was watching one of your tutorials a few weeks ago. I ordered it and just got it a few days ago. Can't believe what a game changer this truly is! Thank you so much for sharing all of the little tips and tricks you do to help create beautiful more perfect jewerly! You rock!
You are very welcome, Darlene. You can see that I wasn't being dramatic when I said it changed my life. This week I spent 4 hours making loops with my 1 Step Looper and I honestly wouldn't have been able to do it manually. My hand was quite sore after that.
I was in a hurry to admire your necklace that I forgot to mention the importance in having this LOOPER TOOL. Amazing just with one click, the loop is made and with NO EFFORT, a must to have tool. Thanks for sharing. 🥰👍
Yes, as I said, it changed my life. When I first started jewellery making I struggled with getting my loops right so this tool worked marvellously for me until I learned. Thank you.
@@The_Stylish_Maker Guess???? I purchased the 2.5mm after midnight. This magic tool didn't allow me to sleep until I placed my order. Scandalous😱 just last afternoon I ordered Toho beads and paid for p&p and 8 hours later I re-paid p&p for the magic tool.🤣 Thanks for sharing.
@@The_Stylish_Maker love your videos are very informative and helpful

I love ❤️ the one-step looper, I purchased the grey one. It certainly makes your creations look professionally done, which is not always the case when you do them manually. Take care! 👍🏻
Thank you so much Helga for your comment. The 1-step looper makes it so easy, I just love mine.
I bought all 3 sizes of the loopers back in early 2022. No sooner did I buy them and I had to pack them away for moving. For quite a lot of reasons (life getting in the way), I haven't been able to unpack my jewelry tools and supplies yet, but having watched this video, I'm really hoping I come across the correct box very soon. I need to get back to being creative for fun, for selling and just for my creative expression. Thanks for the excellent tutorial.
You're welcome, Michelle. I hope you find them soon. I have a pile of still unpacked boxes from 2017 when we moved. I go through them now and again and sort out what I want to keep - I just need a bigger house!
I am in the habit of using long enough scraps of wire to make clasps. One way the one step looper has been a surprising help is for those scraps that are too small for that use. I use the OSL to make figure 8 chain links, either to be used to attach items or linked into actual chain when I have enough of them.
That's a great idea! Thank you for sharing that.
I would love to know how you do that!
@@jessmess13 Just make a loop at one end of your scrap (it doesn't have to be long enough to reach the alignment hole, just be careful about keeping the wire pretty centered and steady) then turn the scrap around and make another loop just as you would if that first loop you made were a bead, taking care that your first loop is pointing in the right direction to make a figure 8. It can take a couple of tries (some wire gauges work better with different size OSLs), and you do need to use pliers to make small adjustments and close up the loops snugly, like snugging a jump ring, but it's pretty easy and fast :)
Thank you.@@shiplesp
Thank you for sharing. Really helped me
You are welcome. I'm glad it helped.
Wow, how quick! Great tool 🇦🇺❤️
Honestly, it changed my life. I used to struggle with loops and this tool made it easy for me to make them. I got better but while I was still struggle this was amazing. Thank you.
I have these tools and I love them . love your tutorials.🤗
Thanks for your kind words Syndy. I absolutely love mine too.
Thank you for showing us how to use this wonderful tool. Your videos are such a big help to me! Thanks again.
Thank you so much, Linda. I'm so pleased that you are finding my videos useful.
Thank you very much for sharing this information about Jewellery loops making 👍🌹🌹

Love your beautiful necklace.
Thank you. I didn't make this one but I have been meaning to make another one just like it in another colour. It's quite labour intensive.
I like mine as well. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. Yes, they are a great tool.
Awww! Sweet! I still have one of those Wire Jigs that do a good job, (15+ years!) but definitely not as fast as this!
Thank you. This is a great tool.
Wow very nice
Thank you.
I’m watching your video from the beautiful fiji islands, I love your work an I need to buy that stuff
Thank you so much for your comments and I would love to make it to the Fiji islands one day when the world is in a better place. I do ship to Fiji so if you would like any of our products then please order from my website - www.affordablejewellerysupplies.co.nz
I looooove the one step looper. It makes it so easy to keep everything looking consistent. I will do loops by hand still sometimes because it doesnt work for everything but most of the time it is perfect
Thank you so much. I agree that the 1 step looper doesn't work for everything. I still do a lot of loops by hand but somehow it helped me to get better at making loops manually too. :)
Its great ill try it
Thanks Rose. I'm glad you liked the video.
Great tutorial video on how to use the looper, I have one question, though... Why do you thread the wire through the hole at the top when doing your first loop? You actually really do not need to, just put the wire a tiny bit past the cutter, that is enough. It is only wasting a small bit of wire putting it through the hole each time, but when you do a lot of loops. that SERIOUSLY adds up very fast. You can absolutely use the looper and only stick the wire through the hole when it is too long, e.g. when using head pins für dangles instead of making eye pins...
Hi Nadine, thanks for your comment. I find that sometimes when I don't put the wire all the way through the back loop the loop that is created is not quite perfect. That's just my experience. I must admit though that I do scrimp on it and do it anyway, then just fix up the loop with my pliers. I like to save wire too.
If u start with a long piece of wire, the part that is cut off can be used to make one or more additional eye pins, wired beads, etc. In the end, when used this way, there is no waste at all except maybe a tiny bit at the very end, after several bits have been looped.
Great tutorial.. I have the yellow looper and all I’ve done was look at it and wasn’t sure how to use it.. thank you.. 😎
Oh that's so great that I could help you. I really enjoy using mine and I'm sure you will too now.
hi there. Received the 2.5 looper today!!hurrah!! your instruction is spot on!! thank you!!
Thank you, Josie. Have fun making your loops.
aha! after a whole day practicing..it almost looks like yours!!@@The_Stylish_Maker
@@jgale-yz9hv yeah, there is a bit of an art to using it but worth the practice.
This tool is definitely a game changer. I absolutely love mine. I have the 1.5mm and 3.5mm. They're especially handy when needing to create several "drop dangles" for a large piece. Highly recommend!!!!
It certainly is. I used to really struggle with loops but this tool makes it easy.
@@The_Stylish_Maker same here. They were always warped. Lol. Of course, I've gotten better at it in the past 10 years.
Brilliant
Thank you so much. :)
I got the 1.5 mm one step looper because the 2.25 mm was not available at the time. I really struggle with getting my loops to be closed or even just a whole loop with the one step looper. If you could maybe do a tutorial on the tips and tricks to get the best loops from your one step looper I know I would really appreciate it. It was a quite expensive tool, and I would hate to see it just go to waste I have learned to make pretty good loops without it, but now it just sits on my tool rack and doesn’t ever get used because I can’t seem to get it right. Your channel is where I first saw the one step looper, and fell in love with it, and the reason why I purchased it in the first place.
Hi Jessica, I'm sorry you are having trouble. To be honest, the 1 step looper doesn't always close the loops. I often have to go back in and close them manually. I have been thinking about doing another video on this where I go into all those details. I think it works better when you go slower but I also think it works best. with either 20 or 22 gauge wire. I hope that helps a little.
My nemesis is looping , THANK YOU!
Oh well this one is perfect for you. It honestly changed my life. Thank you.
9 have one of those and I agree with you on how much nicer it is to have it.
I have tried making my own wire wrapped loops and I cannot get the hang of it for nothing.
Happy beading to you and make some beautiful jewelry !😊💖
Thank you Mary. I have done quite a few videos on wire wrapped loops. I was wondering if I should do a real breakdown of them as I did for the loops recently - ua-cam.com/video/dcEQ3SV_pyk/v-deo.html.

I'm really interested in this tool. But I have a question, you showed some components to a piece of jewelry you're piecing together - after you've made the first loop and threaded the beads, how do you do the second loop of the beads are already on the wire? Especially if you want the loop as close to the beads as possible.
Hi, thanks for your question. The second loop is made in the same way. You put the opposite end (without the loop) of the wire through the loop and push the beads up against the left side curve. Then perform the squeeze to make the loop. You do need to be careful when using small glass beads as they can shatter if you catch them in the jaws. Sometimes it's hard to get the loop as close to the beads as you would like. In that case, where I want the beads to be very close and the loop to stack exactly on top of the beads, if I couldn't get it close enough with the looper, I would do the loop in the traditional way and not use the looper. You can see how I use the looper to make the second loop in this video at timecode 6:20. I hope that helps.
@@The_Stylish_Maker thank you for replying, I really appreciate your advice 🙏
Hi. Can you use the looper tool on memory wire? It’s so hard for me to make loops for my bracelets. Thanks.
Hi Liz. Definitely DO NOT use the 1 step looper on memory wire or you will damage it. I struggle to make memory wire loops too as my hands are not very strong. I would watch this video where I break a few rules and show you how to make the loops. It might help. If not, let me know and I'll do a specific video on it. ua-cam.com/video/25F6rPzdNzI/v-deo.htmlsi=rT0hTIZwhRkGok6q

I have had 3 of these-the 2.5 size-and have returned it twice because it always leaves way too much play between my first bead and the loop. If I try to get it closer to the bead, by bead gets cracked. I need to return by 3rd one now because they all do the same thing. I’m so disheartened about this because I waste way too much wires or pins trying to make my own with arthritic hands. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help me?
Hi, I'm so sorry to hear this. Yes, the one step looper does leave that little gap. My only suggestion is to watch this video and see if you can find some help here. ua-cam.com/video/dcEQ3SV_pyk/v-deo.htmlsi=RExPpZCD0G49uZp6
How do you use that tool when you have beads
You use it in exactly the same way. You might want to watch this video where I use the 1 Step Looper to make components for a necklace. I use it at 5:20 ua-cam.com/video/_Hn14FSDdEM/v-deo.htmlsi=ICSIsfwDv57b9bO3
Let me know if that helps or if you still have questions.
Hi Carol, i’m new to making jewellery and I’ve just purchased my first one step looper. If I’m making a loop at each end of a bead I understand about them aligning the same way, but I’m confused about whether both ends of the loops go up and over or down and under. Or is the first one up and over and the second one down and under? Or does it make no difference? Is that being too pedantic? Thanks, Donna Canberra
Hi Donna, thank you for your question. Do you mean is it important that the opening of the loop is on the same side for each end of the component? Not really. I always aim to have my openings at the back if possible but often jewellery can be worn either way so the back can become the front and vice versa.Let me know if that answers your question.
Hi Carol, I think that answers my question. I guess that if you’re consistent it doesn’t really matter. @@The_Stylish_Maker
Yes, I think so.@@perfectseams
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you liked this one.
Will this tool work with memory wire?
No. Memory wire is made from stainless steel and will damage the looper.
I can’t seem to make mine work. It never makes a fully closed loop.
I sometimes have that problem too with the two larger sizes. I think it comes down to the speed at which you make the loop. I've found that if you go slower, you generally get better loops. Try that and report back.
I know you posted the video a few years ago, but i have a question, where could I buy it? I bought the looper on aliexpress but it broke the same day it came. I don’t know what to do
I bought the original Beadsmith one. If you're in the US you can buy it here: amzn.to/3TArwXf. If you're in New Zealand or Australia, you can buy it here: www.affordablejewellerysupplies.co.nz/products/1-step-looper-1-5mm-2-25mm-or-3mm?variant=43439900590325
