Seeing Carl simply walk back and forth without getting zapped would upset shake, he would be bound to drop his gaird at some point. But then again that's assuming Carl is smart...
Funny that Shake is capable of being a skilled helicopter pilot, a good cook, and is able to lift what is likely a 250 lbs manhole cover out of the ground with ease but only uses his abilities to torment people.
