Future attempts: I'd use a portable air compressor and a metal assembly for the launcher and just see how far you can go. Although maybe doing it somewhere where you have far more space would be recommended.
This fire extinguisher is at about 825 psi (55 bar, roughly 55 times the atmospheric pressure). A typical compressor is "only" about 125 psi (a bit over 8.5 bar, 8.5 times atmospheric) so it won't be as interesting. Now, an oversized pool noodle stomp rocket powered by higher pressures, THAT would be a sight to see! And if you're interested, pressure in one of those stomp rockets originally would not have been more than about 12 psi based on 180-ish Nate and a 4"x4" foot-to-pump contact area (don't know the number, just guestimating. Sorry Nate.) Even then it's just a quick pulse.
@@AgentWest While building a larger stomp rocket would be interesting, the experiment they're performing would require the original ones. If the launching platform were more rigid and could handle the pressure of the fire extinguisher, they may achieve far greater distances with the original rockets without them being blown to shreds.
Hi TKOR!! I just wanted to say your videos inspire me so much. I really enjoy watching you try really random things! I especially like your cotton candy videos :)
Seriously, leaving metal spikes in a park is pretty irresponsible. Fortunately, a magnet can help find them. They make wide ones with a handle and wheels for this exact purpose (picking up nails on a shop floor).
Do custom intros for who’s in the video Example: if Nate and Cali are in the vid they are in the intro If Nate and grace are in the video then you have a Nate and grace intro
I doubt that would impart anywhere near as much force as just Nate stomping on it. (Maybe more than Calli stomping on it, though.) And then it would be instantaneous force rather than continuous, and the latter is what you need for pneumatic pressure.
Gotta try and reinforce the rocket fins, body and nose cone. And maybe some reflectors to help it stand out or IR LEDs for a camera to track it. Stomp Rocket 2.0.
Not really sure if this is something you guys can do, but I heard that it is impossible to drink through a straw that has a height of 35 feet or more. The basic idea is that, it isn't "suction" that pulls fluid up through a straw, but sucking on a straw creates a vacuum. That pressure difference between inside and outside a straw pushes fluid up through a straw, and it can only reach a maximum height of approximately 35 feet. Edit) it is actually 35 feet, not 30.
Use a paintball gun as a launch platform, powered by nitrogen. Since nitrogen requires a regulator, you can adjust your pressure. Should be able to use adapters to size the diameter just right using plumbing parts. Will probably need something threaded like an autococker, tippmann a-5, spyder. Those seem to be the closest to actual pipe threads.
If I was ever stuck on a desert island with one of the TKOR crew, I'd definitely choose Grace, but only if there was coffee. She'd be guaranteed to lift everyone's spirits after her 5th cup of coffee.
Can you please construct a rocket that can handle the force of the fire extinguisher? Perhaps some sort of pvc piping so it doesn’t blow up and make sure the hose connected to the fire extinguisher is held in place so it doesn’t go waving around because I feel in the mili seconds after launch the gas still flowing with the moving hose can alter the trajectory of the rocket sending it on a different angle other than straight which is what we want. Love the video tho keep it up
Yall should take every leftover experiment (like The gushers and anything else yall have) and make one big mixture. like boba and gushers, and fun dip, and skittle. I think it would be very funny to watch
I would love to see you guys use those stomp rockets and see if you can be able to emit at a target and be able to hit the target from different distances
This video was awesome like always. Buuut. I had French Toast for dinner last night and I was watching your videos. I was wondering if you guys could cook French toast different ways? Or make a giant French toast
Try building a launching platform for those rockets with adjustable range and incline degrees, something with a base heavy enough to not move when launched, and a hose adapter to maximize flow. Like the candy launcher.
Okay, y'all have to try this again but put trackers on them. Oh you can do this but with the parachute army men but a big size with fluorescent paint on them. Hey, what can you do with a mousetrap car? My kids had to make them in school, years ago, do they still do that? Thanks for the great laughs and entertainment this video brought. ♥♥♥
What else can we do with stomp rockets??
Hi
Launch one to the moon!
Put a flammable liquid in and attachment to light it and make a flamethrower
3 days ago xD typical
I don't know but that was a cool product
Custom build a launcher as well as re-engineer a more strengthened rocket and then see how far it will travel.
Jus rebuild a stronger rocket
Ztizotti
Yep that's what I was thinking also. It would be awesome to take it out to the desert and test it out too.
make a fire extinguisher powered panzerfaust!
Need a stable rocket and launcher
Grace's IDK what to call it, "Rocket chasing noise"? is hilarious.
No one:
Grace: waaaAaaaaAaahhhh
@@aliceb0balice she be a discount waluigi
Sounds like an angry bird
I can’t focus on anything but that lol
I think it's pretty cute!
I love Grace’s “Waaaaaah” when she chases the rockets. It’s the best, and it’s kinda wholesome?
Nate: "What happens if we just launch it off of the fire extinguisher hose?"
Me: "Something great"
I was right
Future attempts: I'd use a portable air compressor and a metal assembly for the launcher and just see how far you can go. Although maybe doing it somewhere where you have far more space would be recommended.

I dont want to improve the rocket with metal parts then it becomes a hobby instead a toy.

Grace: *Wario laugh*
WAaAa 😂
I like Grace because she's nuts 😁
I actually think the "gaaahhh" she makes is part of the experiment 😂

Bringing up the DIY blow gun made me sad with nostalgia. I made that a few years ago, was epic fun. We need more DIY.
When recommendations are faster than notifications.
Nate and Callie: Man I wish this thing had sound effects.
Grace: I got you covered fam
Also Grace: proceeds to summon demonic creature
Nate: Next lets try these 400 feet rockets
Calli: Grace is gonna love these
Calli: *Runs after rocket*
I love the quick intro clip with everyone in it. I don’t know if I missed a video with it already but here’s my appreciation!
They should make one like a power rangers opening with like a little bio for each person scrolling by.
Everyone but, you know who
We might never find these darts again
1 year later, kid running through the field with bare feet: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
One of many reasons not to be barefoot in a public park.
Ya no kidding, jeez
Ya, was thinking the same, couldn't tell if the ones they launched in the park had the nail in it. Pretty messed up of them if it did.
❤️ Grace’s energy in these videos
Use an air compressor instead of a fire extinguisher. Use a one way valve like you did with the pool noodle launcher.
Grace is the happiest person ive ever seen and i love that for her
"you boys are gonna pay for that!" *Clonk* priceless moment
The noise grace makes made my day
“By the time you are watching this it may be cold with snow” *looks out window* well there is a foot of snow and it’s 28F out. Nah normal day.
Texans (such as me): what is. Sn-shm-snohow?
The teacher is so proud of what he does and it's so clear that he loves his job and that's amazing to see

That was awesome! Grace and Calli are always enthusiastic but hearing Nate just purely amazed was incredible.
3:20 Grace sounds like my cat at 4 in the morning.
Made me laugh, thank you
I love how much Grace and Cali are enjoying trying to catch the rockets especially Grace I wish I had that much energy
grace has the soul of a 7 year old kid: confirmed
@@joshuagibson2520 I agree
And she's as tiny as one
great to watch you guys have some outdoor fun!
You guys can shoot the stomp rocket through things like wood watermelon maybe even steel I think that’ll be awesome
It would be cooler if they made their own, super durable rockets. I am imagining a bazooka like contraption.
Hey man idk if you mean an actual wood watermelon or wood or watermelon but try not to forget the or or at least a comma btw not trying to be negative
I love Nate's reaction to the long rocket lol
Try and make a sugar rocket that can get to 50000 feet (it could be a multistage rocket which is possible)
When you do a follow up, use a tracker I. The rockets to measure distance and stuff that would be cool
0:25 Those seats look painful
Grace's gremlin nature is on full display and it is glorious. She's like a hyperactive chiuaua
Anyone else think Grace sounds like a evil minion while chasing the rockets?
Nice to have grace participate and catch them.
Yins should do this with the whistleing ones

8:34 The Happy Gilmore clip!! Lol! Nice
That was such a nice rocket lol I'm gonna buy one or 2
That's absolutely amazing guys. It might be a little "much" but try making an apparatus for launching aluminum arrows. I would love to see that!
"where'd it go?"

Great video. And no commercials played👍👍👍👍👍.
5:05 - Wait, so you just left those darts in the ground for people and animals to step on? 🤨 🤦
I don't think they had the metal tip
