Giant Fast Food Lunch in Tel Aviv and Beautiful Mediterranean Beach!

Thank you for watching this quick lunch and walking around Tel Aviv vlog. This is actually a little north of Tel Aviv in a place called Herzliya. It's a quiet place, home to lots of start up and online companies.
Ying and I had no plans for the morning and for lunch so we first decided to walk around the beach, which was beautiful. And then we walked around to find lunch and came across a food court like area.
We both decided to eat the roast chicken lunch from Chicken Box. The portions were huge and you could get as much as you wanted fro the same price.
Over the food was good, but chicken was a little dry and the food had a cafeteria taste to it. But it was the right price for a huge meal like that.
I gave it a 6/10 rating just out of my personal comparison with other roast chickens I've ever had. But don't get me wrong, I fully enjoyed it.

Way back in 1974 the first meal I had in Israel was chicken. My friend I was with and I naturally picked up the chicken with our fingers and the owner of the little shop came running to our table with utensils then stopped and shook his head when he saw we already had some. I guess we weren't the average customers.

In Israel, they have a saying.. "In Jerusalem you pray, in Tel Aviv you play and in Haifa you stay. You have to try the food there!! Amazingly awesome!! Great mixture if Israeli, Muslim and Christian culture. (Peaceful too!!!) This blend in culture shows in their food! Please go! I so miss it there..

Love it that you were able to step into the sea. my husband, when he was in US Navy he collected sand, placed into jars. DID Micha & Ying dip feet into sea also, lol. So lucky. The Chicken Box is my favorite, I love to eat like that, a lot of choices, lol.Thanks for sharing

I think it's cool when you video your feet while walking in the clear beach water and when you did the same at Bethlehem where you videoed the steps as you walked. It gives a feel like we are there with you. Thanks for doing that because it's like virtual reality for us. So cool of you!💙

Since being off Work on sick leave, I’ve been watching 8-10 hours of Marks videos. At least it distracts me from the pain and I don’t get as depressed. Marks video are good for those of us whose lives aren’t going to well. He is a breath of fresh air.

Hey Mark! I work in that area and its one of the main hightech employment areas in Israel. As such the restaurants nearby are mainly very basic lunch places and the food is not very good. There is one place which is a level better and its called Sebastian, very near to where you were. I doubt you will be in the area again, but just in case :)

It is called an Israeli salad. Very smaller cubes. We use it for a lot of things. Falafells in pita bread, as a side salad, etc. Find a falagel street vendor. Yummy. Buy a giant bagel. Olives and cheese are a typical breakfast with a bagel. Go to the King David hotel for an incredible outdoor evening show.

Mark, the National Seashore on the Gulf Coast at Pensacola Beach looks exactly like the beach on this video. Go to Crabs, and order the Crab Feast, and sit outside, or at the outside bar. It's an amazing experience

However i have been to Finland, and tried elk soup and reindeer steak. Go to Finland Mark and try their delicacies. Its amazing. Dont go in winter tho too cold ahhaha
