I'm always amazed how you know so much about all these and other comics and how you break down your videos. Any comic book company would be lucky to have you. Hope at some point to see you tell some stories. As a story teller I can see you'd be amazing at it!
I kinda think Dr. Cardosa might have done something to them.... kinda like how the guard had that sonic weapon that incapacitated Andre down by the lab entrance

I think Tek Knight actually has powers here, he referred to the Dean as lesser, human. His powers seem to just be increased senses but apparently he makes it work.
Cate is definitely the betrayer. I believe Luke’s visions were in part because of Cate’s powers, memories from a lifetime of seeing Sam in these Vought facility removed and coming back all at once.
Cate has risked her life with the security guards to save Andre but…Nothing was stopping this guard from telling his bosses what happened. Cate has been doing the do with Andre not because they’re both struck with grief but because she’s been instructed to distract and keep them away from the truth. This leads into my final theory. Cate doesn’t need to touch someone to use her powers, it’s all in the eyes. This is more or less because of how smart it would be to fake limitations with mental abilities because you can’t see them being used. Lures people into a false sense of security. Additionally some people in the last episode gained more proficiency with their powers. Marie was able to control blood inside of someone, and Emma grew big.
Tek Knight definitely has powers in the show. It's obvious... and even if it wasn't he graduated from Godolkin University... to even attend you have to be a compound V kid.
I agree with the Cate theory. She has been sus to me since the first episode. I found it weird that her and golden boy visited the woods, and then when he started freaking out about it years later, she acted like they didnt. She didnt help goldenboy and she didnt really help Andre until after his plan was screwed. I might remember wrong, but when she and Andre were talking about what happened, Cate did not explain to him that she had been down there already. Cherry on top is the weird love triangle they got, could be that goldenboy was gay and Bourke had him with her for rankings. Either way she has been sus and analysis wise it seems like she disappears whenever characters do “hero” shit. First time I really see her get involved and we have this time skip. This brand is so good that I wouldnt be surprised if this is all red herring for another character lol. Regardless, something is fucking with their brains. Sam is made to look like hes hearing voices, but golden boy heard them too. It looks like Sam made him hear that stuff, but I highly doubt that after seeing the drive in sesame video.

Cate is at the top of my betrayal list too especially after this episode. They set up how psychic abilities affect consciousness with Rufus and a similar thing happens at the end. I think Cate used her powers on them.
Impossible; she doesn't have enough stamina to push 4 people one by one.
I think it was the kid whos dick was blown off by marie, especially since we dont know the range of his abilities or how many ppl he can affect at once.

Are we sure Tek Knight is not a supe? He senses menstral cycles and his sense of smell seemed heightened.
To me they definitely added that stuff to show that he is a supe in the show, it makes no sense for a regular human to pick up on that stuff.
And ovulation. At least he might be on some type of compound that heightens his senses.
I wonder if his tumor heightens his olfactory senses. Or maybe it’s because of his obsession with holes make him a hole expert. 😂

I think they might have given him Compound V for the show because his deduction skills reminded me alot of how Daredevils powers work but without the blindness obvously lol, its just all those shots seemed very super power like how they did the zooms and everything and it would also explain why he attended Godolkin University and they have changed alot of other things from the comics.

I do feel that tek knight might have some powers as he does throw out that line to the dean saying she’s just a human. Not sure if he would say that to her if he was human too and not a supe. She also made it seem like he could beat up supes he interrogated in the past. Not sure if a human would be able to do that. Lastly, there's no way a human would be able to detect Andre was sleeping with Cate by smelling someone, that's like super human senses.

Is Buffy the vampire slayer worth checking out in 2023 in your opinion? Honest question I’ve seen clips and it seems awful but I won’t change a show based off out of context clips. The missus and I need another show to watch should we try it?
@@raymondsims7042 your best is googling the top 10 Buffy the vampire Slayer episodes. And then watching them first and then if you like those 10 episodes go back and watch the whole series . Is really good but watching it you have to pretend you're in the 90s. No social media

The show has strong character arcs , unique dialogue , great acting and foreshadowing which makes it great for rewatches
The show has been studied in universitys too
I would suggest you watch but know that the show became popular in pop culture because of what happens in season 2 which was a big improvement on season 1, the show lasting 7 seasons also means it has a definitive ending and wasn't cancelled
Season 1 is only 13 episodes
The journeys the characters go after season 1 is amazing. A lot of characters are super memorable too.
The show has some comedic elements but gets pretty dark
I think watching clips won't work because the dialogue is very unique and snappy but it works in the context of the world created in the show
I'd go as far as to say if a writer intends to write television in particular fantasy and how to do long term arcs they should watch the show
Nothing is perfect yes but there are so many things to learn from the show

Pretty sure he does have compound V, he calls the dean a "human". His observation skills are also clearly not human. His threat to break Marie's arm doesn't seem like something a regular human would say either.
The actor who plays Sam is doing an insanely good job. I love how he stutters and clicks to almost different personalities.

I think you are wrong. Tek Knight DOES have powers in the show. Just because he didn’t in the comics means nothing - you can clearly tell he is a supe in this.
So the tv shows are supposed to be more grounded so I really love how they made Tek Knight a superhuman detective that actually sets up his crimes/victims. I also love how the ending was glitchy/everyone blacked out like in Moon Knight.
I love how gory and gritty this series can be without the main cast but I really hope Tek runs into Billy Butcher

you're right, Alex Calvert's character Jack became god on Supernatural. I curious how his Rufus character will bounce back from this. I'd been wondering what his character's talent was going to be. Nice to see Emma thinking outside of the her comfort zone to work with Sam, great move. Would it be possible that the doctor's son might have something to do with that lost time?
It really seemed like they decided to give tech knight powers on gen v, 1 of the big points that made me think that was when tech knight told the dean, I think, that she was only human, implying that he, tech knight, wasn’t human he had powers.
This show is so good to me I really need them working on season 2 right away!!!!💯💯
Ten Knight's mannerisms and the whole larger than life is similar to Tony Stark's while the Investigative journalism aspect of his character is definitely derived from Batman's Greatest Detective moniker. Honestly, this version of the character better suits the world of the Boys. Though... I do think a Playboy billionaire tech guru supe would be cool in this universe too.
Also, they made him a supe in this version. The whole intuitive abilities he has and his arrogant comment about the dean being disposable because she's human. Definitely could be a set up for Homelander's future.
If we're looking for a Buffy parallel, the woods are more like the Initiative in s4 than the Hellmouth in seasons 1-3.

Rufus' name is also a play on roofies to go with how he uses his power, but my fav scene is Tek Knight with the tape before he interrogates Marie so random but funny
I just finished this episode and..... such a good episode. I kinda want to read the comics, but i enjoy not knowing anything about the characters and slowly learning how screwed up they are.
Tek Knight is a piece of work and degenerate is a perfect word to describe him. 😅 I’m curious what is going on with Sam? Is he having hallucinatory compound V side effects or is he being manipulated?
They mentioned that Sam has Schizophrenia in episode 1 or 2 I think which is why he sees and hears things that aren’t there.

Why do you think Tek Knight isn't a sup? They say in the show that he graduated from GU and he threatens to rip Cate's hand off and she was terrified by that. Sups are almost all durable with some degree of enhanced strength. They would fear some human ripping body parts off.

Tek Knight is my favorites from The Boys and I can’t wait to see more of him plus this episode was pretty fkin awesome with all the characters development including brutal action scenes I love how everyone getting duos like Sam and Emma, Marie and Jordan, and Andre and Cate can’t wait for more episodes plus Cate has been really off with me tho but ik that betrayal will be a gut wrenching. But can’t wait for more.

The time jump at the end seemed like the time jump with Rufus, which makes me think Rufus didn't do that in the first place.
It really seems like he had powers they were just enhanced senses.

I like it. I watched the first trailer and that was it. I have this sense of trust with anything connected the Boys now. the whole world/spin off shows I can almost guarantee will be good and this show is the same. Good characters and interesting storyline. who ever is in charge at Amazon overseeing this universe is doing a good job. feels like they have a Kevin Feige in charge there
it was a different episode than the 3rd one and was collectively providing the side story of ten knight and managing to build the events of the series further. sometimes doesn't it feel they should have a special episode to draw out characters properly like tek knight was the main highlight of the episode hope to see more of him.

After rewatching Gen V i can confidently Predict, Kate is the one who is creating the time fractuation thingy. She is the one one doing it since she is in bed with the vought. I think also Dean Shetty is gonna die at end of this season but she will be killed after vought realise she somehow some way helped Jordan and Marie group solve something. Also on golden boy story, He might come back and i think he will be the main antagonist at some point in the show.This particular theory is different coz Patrick is a very 'famous' character to just appear in support roles. Anyways cant wait for the sho's next episode.

At first when they showed Sam seeing the world as puppets I immediatly though it was going to have a connection to Noir's backstory and the fact that he sees the cartoons... maybe is the product of Dr Cardosas experimentations on him kinda recreating what Vought did to Noir back in the day. But they're probably setting Sam to be the version of Legion for the show, a super powerful being that may be used in the future.
But I still hope it has some conection to Noir... the main show still needs to explain a lot about his backstory.
Sam seems more like the Hulk. The crazier he gets the stronger he gets. He even jumps from place to place like the Hulk.
