The skiing looks like the area around Rattlesnake Point. The buildings along the railroad tracks look like Rifle Range. That's the west end of Chapel Hill nowadays. My great-great grandparents owned the Rifle Range Hotel there.
Thanks. I wondered where this was. Never heard of the Rifle Range Hotel. The worst skier in the vid was Karl Warner from Irondequoit. He won Olympic Gold in 1932 and set record that held for 20 years in 4 x 100.
Pretty cool my Parents were both born in Irondequoit in 1935 and still live there.
