    Lovely clear tutorial. I've never thought of turning the work when doing a granny square, so thank you for this, I'll give it try next time :)

      Thank you Judith. Yes turning really helps when you are making large granny squares and stops the corners going all wonky.

    You posted a bobble border on your blog spot. I’m not able to find it anymore. Would you have a link to the stitch you used?

      Hi Nancy I am currently changing my domain host and unfortunatly my blog is currently unavailable. They have assured me that it will be back up and running within 24 hours.

    I assume the turning at the end of the row is to help the finished piece stay square?

    I tried and tried and tried. I can’t catch on to doing a granny stitch.

      Different people learn in different ways, try watching lots of different videos. I am sure with practice and a little patience you can get it.

    Could you please tell me how I get from one corner to the next in the second round, as mine just doesn’t look right. Thank you.

      After finishing the first corner on the second round you immediatly work the next corner in the next space. Unfortunately without seeing a photo I cannot tell where you may be going wrong...

      Hi Rebecca I don't remember the colour off the top of my head, but all the extra info can be found in the blog post which is linked in the discription box above. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment and I hope you enjoy the video...

    Can you please tell me how many balls of wool I need to make the blanket, and the tassels. Thank you 🌸

    • @LullabyLodge
      @LullabyLodge  3 роки тому

      Hi Rebecca, I used 3 balls and I recommend making the tassels first to make sure you have enough yarn. You can then keep going with the blanket untill the yarn runs out.

      The accompanying blog post has a lot more information and is linked above. The blanket will be as big as you want it to be, you just keep adding more rounds until you reach the size you want. The blanket I made was approx 20x20 inches (100x100 cm). I hope that helps.

    Question for you, is this literally one big SQUARE! I’d prefer it a bit longer to go over body lengthwise, is there a secret to achieve this/. Thank you!

      You could try attaching 2 squares together for an oblong blanket...

    This was an awesome clear tutorial. Excellent teacher. Not being rude because you’re lovely but sometimes it’s hard to hear your voice over the music for me.

      Thank you so much, editing videos is still a learning process for me. My more recent videos should have a more ambient music volume :)
