In Antistasi ultimate FAQ, at the very bottom, there is a list of "file names". You'll want to copy the file name from the list that corresponds with the mission (map) you're wanting to play on, and then put that in the mission template section of mission override.
Hey man, I've got a second computer running faster, I'm attempting to host antistasi for some mates and myself. How does one go about saving the antistasi game? Is it possible to save, stop the server and relaunch from where we left off once I relaunch? Trying to find out how to do that and I'm good to go pretty much haha.
With antistasi you save in game. Once you get into the server, the person playing the "commander" position can go into the HQ building and save. Can't remember if it's at the map or at the mission dude. The save is "attached" to the mission file but its still wherever your server saves are, so it'll just automatically relaunch that save... IIRC anyways.
@@morri908 On our first few launches it wasn't loading the game (or showing the load persistent save menu) after saving under the game menu, so I was a bit lost. It's all working now though so no stress. Cheers for the reply, and for the informative video :)
Oi i get an error when i try to save the sever and that is that it says the mods does not show in the arma 3 directory how do i fix it? EDIT: found out i had not deployed all the mods in the deployments tab
For the mods? I usually make the list using the default game launcher, then under "more" click "export list of mods to file". Faster has an option to import the mods from the file. Or you can manually go to each mod page and grab the number from the URL. For instance "RHSSAF" (see 2:31) is steamcommunity(dotcom)/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=843632231 As you can probably imagine, the second method is a massive pain in the butt and only worth doing for singular mods you want to add.
Really wish you remember what you changed to get the "Steam Authorization Failed" error to go away. Very helpful video, I'm just stuck on that now. Thank you.
If you figure it out I'd appreciate knowing too, because I just reinstalled faster trying to figure out what I did to get it to do that and it isn't giving me any issues with either account. Only thing I can recommend is closing steam? Unfortunately I have the memory of a goldfish.
Most of the time Steam requires that 2FA-thing. I use a separate empty account for my dedicated servers, and that account have 2FA turned off. That way, it will connect and download updates without issues.
I've painstakingly been trying to set this up to where the server runs on one PC and the Headless runs on another PC on the same network, I'm going insane trying to figure this out & no matter what I do, the HC only runs on the Server PC. Any idea how to fix this?
I never did figure out how to set up HC's on a separate computer. I don't imagine you would be able to use FASTER for it, you'd probably have to go through normal HC setup and I have no idea how to do that because I'm lazy and use things like TADST and FASTER.
@@aetheritn Could you reply with a link to said tutorial? I am able to create HC instances on a separate machine and even connect them, but in-game (Antistasi Ultimate) HC info says: No Headless Clients found". If I spawn HC instances with faster, they work and AIs are offloaded to them correctly.
TLDR, probably not but unfortunately I have no idea. It's been a while since I set this up or used it. I remember having an issue with launching the dedicated server and having steam running, that's why the login listed in FASTER in the vid is a blank account. I want to say that if I had my primary account logged in and steam running and used the same login info, FASTER would give me an error. So..
From what I've been seeing you don't. You need to have steam turned off though when you launch the server or it will say you're in game and not let you launch the game. It's advised to use a separate rig due to the fact it's technically going to be running two instances of the game. As well as use a seperate steam account if you have any issues running and playing via the same account
The antistasi ultimate mod that builds the game? You have to have the mod both server and client-side, and then there's a server command to initialize the game and actually run the mod.
@morri908 you wouldn't happen to know the server command do you? Also where would I get the .vars files for my saves locally if I wanted to move my ultimate save to a dedicated?

If I remember correctly (haven't played arma since shortly after making this video), if you're using workshop content you have to actually launch the content before it will appear. So like for antistasi i had to set up a locally hosted server (you don't have to go through the whole setup, just have to get passed the mission selection page...), then it'll show up in whatver folder you have your profile in.. Once again, I could be misremembering exact file locations (that's where mine are currently but i don't remember if i moved them there), but the files wont appear until you've opened them "in game".

I am using anti ultimate, and cannot find the correct PBO, or mission file. Do i need to modify mission override? All mods are loaded and deployed.
