A very upbeat song. This was the first with Adam Chance who replaced Chris Rupp after he left. Speaking of trying everything and Adam Chance, you need to try out their brand new video, their long awaited official Home Free video of their original sea shanty, (written by Chance) Skull And Bones. It is a 4 minute, mini movie with our boys being pirates. They really out did themselves on this one. They have really set the bar high. Enjoy watching your reactions.
One of their best IMHO that does not get the recognition it deserves! The subtle banjo-like riff going in the background of the "oh oh oh ohhhh" phrase is a masterful touch.
Many times during the past couple of hard years, this song by these marvelous fellas has lifted my spirits. And they are nothing but marvelous, all dang five of them.
This is just one of the happiest songs and a pick me up if you need one. They did it great.
I think that Home Free can convey the emotion so well, especially with Happy songs. I think that's one of HF's greatest strengths. They don't need too much "show". The "simpleness" of many videos is therefore often enough. Just put them somewhere and they succeed. Their voices do the work. I love this song because all their voices come out so well here. It was the first song with Chance. I think the choice to bring Chance into the group has been the best choice they could have made. He fits perfectly into the group. A really good addition. He has such a recognizable silky smooth and sexy voice. I can't really remember that he sings a piece at the same time as Tim like here. But it sure sounds great. In some songs they do sing the bassline together, which makes the bass even more penetrating. This confirms to me why they are number one for me. What an unbelievably freaking good one that Adam is. What great vocal sounds he does here. Not normal how good. The number one beatboxer, the best of all!!!
This is one of those songs that get you moving. If not you may want to check your pulse.

Thanks for reacting to this older song. I love it! These guys are so talented. And Adam's beatboxing is awesome as usual. The song has a great message. It's okay to make mistakes if you can learn from them. This was Chance's first video with Home Free. I recently watched the animated movie "Zootopia" where this song is from. Very cute film. I like Home Free's version of the song better than Shakira's.
If you want to see them live in concert, Home Free will be in KC at the Ameristar Casino on April 27th. I'll be there for my 7th HF concert. I hope to see you there!
