Does the MDO provide transient analysis?
Do we get time correlation between analog/digital and RF just like in the older MDO4000 series ?
Thanks for the question @SaadAli. The 3 Series MDO has a separate RF spectrum analyzer input, just like the MDO4000. The RF input on the 3 Series MDO can measure up to 1 GHz, standard. It can be configured with an option to measure up to 3 GHz. The MDO4000C can be configured to measure up to 3 GHz or 6 GHz, depending upon the options.
Please see this page, www.tek.com/datasheet/3-series-mdo, for more material related to the 3 Series Mixed Signal Oscilloscope.
@@tektronix I don't think my question is understood. In the older MDO4000C there is a split screen view between Spectrum and Analog. Is the same feature available in the newer ones ?(sadly the new 4 series is an MSO). I have found that feature to be extremely useful when it comes to debugging.
@@SaadAli-mr1dd He's sales guy, all he can do is repeat text from brochure, like a parrot.
@@SaadAli-mr1dd I'm curious about this as well. The pricepoint is relatively cheaper than the 4000, specifically for the higher end models, and the features seem to be about the same. Yet this MDO seems super obscure, and I'm curious as to why that is. I'll have to do a bit more research and maybe contact Tek, but if there's no major downsides I might buy one of these
