- Join me as i attempt to connect the amazing Celeritech equal length 10-1 exhaust manifold on Phils E46 M3, to the existing Eisenman back-box. We'll need some fairly precision fabrication, along with oval tube for maximum ground clearance, and a modifying the back-box from a dual inlet to a single 3.5" v-band inlet! Of course fully TIG welded and back purged

It's a bit sad that you should have to ask people not to talk crap about possible negatives about this job, this work of art is an example of what makes car modding so good, it doesn't matter what someone else thinks or if it's the best engineering idea. It's about the fact that you can have anything you want, just because it's your's and original.

I think that's sweet. To answer those negative people, there is some really good heat blankets you can put between the headers and motor to stop that. I would even bet you could track the car with the heat blankets and you would be fine.

Tounge in cheek: Good you have that to practice on so the Austin Allegro will turn out even better 😉 (although slightly dissapointed it got a Honda engine instead of the supercharged V6 it had..) Great vid 👍🏻 I need to get some ally blocks and a nice v band purge block, I usually bolt the v bands together and weld them up as I’m too scared they will warp! But obviously not!!

I never bolt them together. Much prefer a some kind of heat sink, means they’ll cool quicker and I can get on with the job quicker!

All the complaining karens are just jealous. That is beyond amazing work on those manifolds. The amount of work to fit and weld the tubes so intertwined with each other. Just mind blowing. Love it!
Great skills you’re demonstrating and we get to see the condensed version. You mentioned the hours spent on the back box, but how many hours went into the whole system you created ? Absolutely awesome, BTW ✊
