Very good review. My older brother who got me into sneakers had gifted me the 2001 .Co JP back when he was stationed in Japan. But by the time I got it my foot was a half inch bigger and ended up storing it then I didn't know I still have them in storage in 2014. I only ended up trading it last year and then got this 2024 release. I changed the laces into a waxed one and added a white dubrae to make it my own.😎
I was not into sneakers when these first dropped or retro’d with Kith. Big fan of this colorway though and ended up with 2 raffle draws! Looking forward to wearing them this summer (if the rain ever stops in Miami).
I always size down .5 in my af1s

It’s a beautiful model and colorway. The story is cool. I can relate as someone who digs OG adidas runners that only drop during Olympic years and SPZL. But I don’t Swoosh. That stated, this shoe would get an obscene amount of foot play if I could be swayed (but I can’t be).

I can't believe not enough people are talking about this release. This might be the most sought after pair of AF1s ever! I guess AF1 hype is at a low which is to our benefit. Your video is amongst the only ones I could find on this linen update. I'll be going hard for these! Thank you for the early look!
Sneaker trends come and go....but I'll always be a AF1 fan even if they aren't "hype" right now....and these are definitely a top 5 all time AF1, in my opinion.

What has been a pair of AF1's that you believe have better craftsmanship and materials??? And offwhites that go for over 1000 don't count. You really can't judge until it is in your hand. That’s the fastest sellout in history then 35 out of 35 my last GR and I never had a chance and I was in there at 10 o’clock on the dot but when I got those ultra dunks they did the same thing and it sold out and then they were back on the app an hour later I’m hoping that’s the case .

Great shoe but the pink outsole when it gets dirty they look underwhelming 😅 if the outsole was linen they would be a go.

I don’t even too much like AF1’s anymore and I copped these. Didn’t hit on SNKRS but resale is hella kind on these. Material quality looks amazing and the history of the shoe speaks for itself. Can’t wait till they get here. Also those ribs and brisket in those shots are everything I need right now haha. Great review!
Same here took a L on SNKRS and got a pair off GOAT, never been a huge AF1 person but when I first saw these on a Fat Joe collection video I thought the colorway was so fire🔥

I know about this linen, Is great nike bring it back, but now it released I don't really want it because is nothing special IMO. Imagine if I got it, will I be excited to have this or is just another pair of AF1? Will I wear it or keep it for the right occasion? Can the money be better spent elsewhere on other pair or something else?
Currently on my 2nd pair from the 2016 release....materials and colorway are 🔥 🔥. I dont typically double up on anything, but i definitely will be on thos release
The 2016 pair is sooooo off though. The outsole and swoosh are two different colors, the shape is completely off, and the shade of tan is completely off. I had a pair when they dropped and compared to my 2001 pair they are completely different. The 2024 pair is done significantly better and more accurately. If you grab this pair, let me know your thoughts if/when you grab a pair!

No stockX and Goat are a last option only if you can't get it at the retail 135. Typically prices are the highest at release. If you wait I'm sure it will go below retail at some point because that's what the market is these days. Surprisingly I'm not seeing much hype.

I honestly don’t get the hype behind these shoes. There are plenty other AF1 to celebrate with good quality materials. Why choose one with such a weird color way. Pink and brown?! Come on man you gotta be kidding me. I recently purchased the 3m Snake AF1 which is a reissue of a COJP 2001 sneaker. How is this any better than that one 🤷🏽♂️. Hype must be

Because these were hard to get back then even as a COJP and it was a weird colorway for the time period. Also most of the most iconic Air force 1 collectors went out of there way to fly overseas to get them and still had to run all around the place to find them. It's really a shoe you have to have in hand tbh. Also weirdly you can wear them with most outfits even if the colors don't match and somehow it still looks really good. Trust me you'll love them in person.
This shoe is for the old heads who were around for that era. If you don’t understand the hype that’s even better for us 😬
