I loved it, they dug down a couple of times and I heard Blue Eyed Soul and had fun. It was good to see them sing it together in there later years together, Rest Easy Bobby!!
Love the Righteous Brothers. He sang the song Unchained melody the best of any singer. Gone to soon He was 💕 Loved so much. May he RIP Missed and always in our memories. AGreat Performer.
Bill medley still had a beautiful voice while aging, and Bobby Hatfield was STILL going strong. Later, he died at a hotel before a concert he was to perform...
This was delightful and the ladies were adorable. I’m sure the experience singing with the Righteous Brothers will be a memory That they will never forget. It warmed my heart to see the generosity of Bobby and Bill. A very special moment that also has given me a joyful and nostalgic moment. Thank you for sharing.
Leslie I don’t know what you had to pay but I double it to sing with you and Bill Medley!! I’ll always miss and be sad about Bobby Hatfield!!! These guys had such rich clear voices!!
Wow! How awesome to be up on that stage and so close to them. If I had ever had a chance to be that close to Bobby I think I really would have "swooned"! What fun for all of you, so jealous!
Ahh another wonderful video of those two! I too am envious of those two gals! Bobby we sure miss you! Bill Bless you and hope you will be around for awhile yet.
OMG they are still killing it - effortlessly! And you are very brave young ladies to get up and sing next to two of the most legendary voices of all time! But you did great!!
I saw the Righteous Brothers 2003 in Sault Ste Marie Michigan Bobby left us later at Kalamazoo So sad I am glad I got to see them memories of the 1970s music
This brought such joy to me to watch!!! I could tell everyone was having such a great time...and Bobby was such a fun clown! Real happiness right there...what an amazing memory for you and your friend. Thank you for sharing with all of us!
I've been listening to rock and roll since 1952 when I was 5 and I still listen to certain singers and groups..and only two singers could reach high notes and they were Roy Obitson and Bobby Hatfield... still on top of my list of singers who gave me goosebumps. I'VE ALWAYS
Too bad the blonde wasn't standing next to Bill Medley. She obviously wanted to be near him. Kept watching him. How fun and what a wonderful experience for them.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us never seen this type before now I've watched it over and over and it was so awesome you girls are so good thank you so much and rest in peace Bobby
This was a once of a lifetime experience. It was the first time Bobby & Bill #TheRighteousBrothers had someone on stage to sing with them! Charity event for Lupus in Newport Beach, CA. #YouveLostThatLovingFeeling Circa year 2000 #StandingOvation ❤️💙😀
When they first released this their voices were flawless. They are old here. One could not have existed without the other, especially on this and this song. Watch Andy Williams variety show from the 70's . The song, "Unchained Melody" was written for Bobby Hatfield's(and from the deep diaphragm) of a trained, flawlessly High Pitched voice, made for that song,. He had an incredibly high range . Nothing Falsetto a bout him. This I'd never seen until tonight,10/2/21. They were never the Rightous Singers, but fast living affected Bobby's voice. His death was a true loss for the World and he died to soon. I would compare the purity of his voice before, touring, temptations, the biggest cause of losing your range and preventable, if they don't, smoke cigarettes especially, or smoke drugs, they can preserve their voice with age. He did have some problems with that, and may have had underlying heart issues. That could have, coupled with a stimulent like cocaine, caused his untimely, unexpected great loss and death.
I meant to finish with, the end of my comparison, would be likened to Whitney Houston's Pure, Pure Voice was changed, after extended period of some fast living, and wrong influence. We've all loved and seen the sweetest, most trusting of people fall prey to the wrong influences , especially people with such Talent, Fame, and Wealth.
@@DippyHippie Just stop. He needed bypass surgery. That's what killed him. Whatever happened to your brother I'm sorry, but it has nothing to do with him.
Yes, he’s flirting and not really on target. He had huge sex appeal but that’s not what I’m talking about here. He was already taking drugs and I think he’s on something here which ultimately became his demise. So sad. Such amazing God-given talent. So good looking in his youth and he would’ve known that a drug inspired heart attack would happen? So sad.
Absolutely! I know we mostly hear about women going gaga over Bobby, and he Was incredibly talented.. incredible voice, seemed like he was easy-going, fun & laid-back, and of course, very good looking. That said, it was always Bill Medley that made my heart swoon and my knees go weak!😉🩷 Two incredible legendary talents!
I am sorry to see the disparaging comments about Bobby. No one but he knows if these comments are true. ppl should not say things they don't know are true. true or not. let Bobby RIP.
Compare 80's to this. Well-built and muscular. In 64 he was in his early 20's. Most guys are still thin and gawky. He's like a rail here hidden by baggie clothes. Something was going on. Illness I suspect. Check out later stuff from shortly before he died. There are very clear signs of COPD. Bill also commented on it in his book. Bill said he did not take care of his health. If you thought I was implying substance abuse, I was not and I apologize.@@Aurora-tp3dy
Cute ladies, but bless their hearts because they can't sing. It was all for a good cause. Therefore, they didn't mind participating. When the blonde went home, she probably said kissing Bill on the lips was well worth it. 😆
@@spoodlewHer/his crystal ball, I guess. To me it looks like someone having fun after a day of golf tournament and show to raise money for the Lupus Foundation.
Here's the thing about that song: yes, it's a sad tale, BUT it's in the "country" style, intended to foot-tappingly transport the singer or listener to a happier, stronger mood, to get joy and wholeness back. The music transcends and mends the heartbreak. See also trini lopez's Oh Lonesome Me.
You do realize this was a fundraiser for lupus research and the girls got to sing with them kind of like an auction. It's supposed to be fun. Bobby's wife had lupus and he had the golf tournament and concert for years for that cause.
