My parents and trainer decided together that I was ready!
I was born into Horse Riding, My Family for generations on my farm I live on Have been riding forever, My Papaw is my Trainer and My cousin helps too!! I thank God Everyday for all that he has given me, I am not trying to brag, Just answering Ur Question
HORSE LOVER I hadn't gotten a horse yet but I have been able to combine my mom to let me get one. The way I was able to was tell her why I wanted a horse, how it could benefit me, pros and cons. Also I told her price of owning. And I made a deal with her on things I would do more or less. And I also have been volunteering at a local barn so she knows that it's not just a phase that many people go through, so she can know Im serious about what I want to do

My parents and I are probably going to lease a horse in the near future. The horse that we're probably going to lease is my favorite horse at the barn she is so sweet and rides so nice and I'm really excited!!😆😆
Those are some great essentials. I'd would add for the bit I would ask the person you bought the horse from what bit they used as a good first place to start. Next would be just a plan snaffle like you said 😊 enjoy watching your videos.

Just recently I got a horse I western ride only and he still needs weight though I have been getting out to brush him and do his hooves so when the Ferrier comes to do his hooves he won’t kick.his name is yank and I talked my friend into getting a horse named Diesel she is going to do barrel raceing and jumping we also wish to enter the parades around us!(Our next parade is old timers parade and I might be able to get yank out there in it!)

I have a one sided stretchy girth and I have no problem with it, it's actually way better than any other girth on my horse and don't know why your complaining about it
They work for people, but we prefer girths with elastic on both sides.

I work at a vet clinic to buy my horse things. I’m 13, so when people say I’m spoiled I always ask if their working in a clinic doing surgeries and administering IVs weekly. The answer is always no
I'm getting a new horse next month so this really helps!! Also how do you know what type of boots will fit because I bought some over reach boots and some brushing boots but I don't know if they will fit him
We're glad that it could help! It just depends on what size your horse is, you might need to return them depending on how they fit!

I know this video is pretty old but whatever 😂 I just want to say I am getting my first horse on Thursday and I went to Horseland today and spent over $500 hahaa and I didn’t even get a saddle because we got one brand new secondhand so yay I can’t wait for my horse.

we have a very large Family so we have one large property that everyone in the family helps pay for and we have thirteen different horses on the farm me and my cousin's aunt and uncle do the horses and all that and let me tell you there are a lot of chores how we ended up with thirteen horses was my Aunt and uncle had 5 but then the next year on Facebook someone had an weren't rescue of 11 horse and all of them were $50 somehow most of the horses were very trainable and fit so we got lucky and the other three we ended up finding a great home for them. If you want to know ways to make money one thing we do for a little extra cash is when horses have to travel far distances they need a place to stay so we let people keep their horses here as like a rest stop and that gets a lot of money plus since most of our family are farmers we get free hay and horse food plus the vet and Ferrier are also our close friends so we get deals In NO way am I trying to brag but the whole point is getting cheap healthy horses and staying on a budget with feed and ver bills is pretty much all about connections you get good friends they help and they usually have other people to contact.
I want to start horse back riding and I found a gorgeous mustang named gypsy and my dad said no but it makes me really happy when I think of horses what do I do to convince him to Let me take lessons and get gypsy

How often do you need to clean your horse along with the tack? Just curious for the future :)
We groom our horses before and after every ride, and rarely bathe them in the winter. We spot clean our tack after every ride, and deep clean it around every 3-4 months!

You should get a GoPro so you can film when you ride. GoPro's are expensive so I got a $30 action camera it came with all the parts to put on your helmet. I would love to see a helmet video from you guys. Ilysm.
We have one, but the lighting in our indoor sucks, so we might film some this summer!

I recommend a leather breakaway halter for trailering! My personal favorite saddle brand is Bruno Delgrane but it just depends on what you want :)
