I absolutely LOVE that you're keeping your Recipe Keeper to give to your daughter! My kids are older, 23 and 20, and I really wish I'd thought of doing things like this when they were younger. I am SO uncrafty and definitely lack the artistic gene so there are a lot of things I see now that I kick myself for not thinking about doing for them. This is definitely one of those things. I also wish I'd thought of something like I saw recently for my kid's high school graduation...using a book (like the Dr. Seuss classic "Oh the Places You'll Go") and have their teachers sign them and leave a sweet note starting with Preschool up. Each would have their own page so when they graduated they'd have a memory book and more importantly, they'd feel really special because I'd thought of something like this from the time they were very young and for following through with it year after year. For those of you with small kids, definitely give this idea a thought :)
I love your setup! I just started monthly grocery planning as well. I cook everyday (we generally eat all our leftovers for lunch) and I found that making categories for different days really makes monthly meal planning easier for me. For example, every Tuesday here is Mexican food, so I'll make a list of 4-5 Mexican dishes we like and I'm done with Tuesdays for the month. Other categories are soups, salad, pasta, vegetarian, casseroles, Crock-Pot, or fast/easy meals for my busy days. Just wanted to share in case that's helpful to you or one of your subscribers. :) I love the way you have it all planned out in your fitness planner. The way we eat is such a big part of a healthy lifestyle and it makes a lot of sense to plan there.
You are such a good photographer, you could always take a picture of your meal after you finish it! That would really personalize your recipe planner! ❤️ Love your health and wellness content!!!

Quita, the reason the carb count is so high is because those are not net carbs. An avocado has about 12 carbs or so but 10 of those are from fiber. Making the avocado only 2 carbs. So that count on the avocado salmon is a LOT lower than what is shown. However that count in general is way off. I think that particular one is a misprint. There are no carbs in salmon or olive oil, 2 in the avocado and maybe about 5 or less in the lemon juice. I would say 7 carbs... Crack chicken is a staple in our home. My guys love anything with cream cheese or bacon. I use my Instant pot now instead of crock pot...Now I love it even more cuz I can make it last minute

We have the same opinion on Pinterest. Waaaayyy to much clicking sometimes to get to the recipes. But I definitely want to start the recipe book as a potential hand me down to my daughter but want to know where you get the additional recipe sheets. Also what canon SELPHY do you have?

With Keto you use net carbs which is carbs - fiber. This meal probably had a higher fiber count which would lower your net carbs. Hope that makes sense.

Some people count TOTAL carbs vs NET carbs. Total carbs can be somewhat higher -- sometimes significantly!

usda said that 146g (1cup)of an avocado has 12 grams of carbohydrates. I don't know if that's because it falls under a fruit???
