I am not a nihilist but to some extent or another I feel disillusioned with most ideologies. Even those I love in have doubts and reservations about. The past feels so much more secure than the frontier of the future. I think our growing understanding of space has given us a cosmic depression . The new conception of the sun being mortal and not immortal is outside our historical conception of it. Saying the sun is mortal is a hard hitting statement
The way I see it, the higher mental realities are a bonus for mastering earthly reality with and through our personality. Today it is rather mistakenly reversed. As a young person one has equal access to the mental sphere above the rugged, hard truth that physical death and the suffering associated with it is part of the human experience, which is why one feels like an individual, but has not yet earned to really claim that for oneself (process of individuation). The initiation out of and back into society is missing as a basis for true understanding and wisdom as a necessity for true sovereignty. This does not mean that one should increase suffering unnecessarily, but bring it *consciously* into one's life because one has raised the understanding that this is necessary in order to evolve in all dimensions of life.
its for watch time, its more likely for viewers to continue watching when there is a musical element. and maybe it could convince someone its prophetic, who knows.
@DIllionaire why not play Baby Shark in the background, if it's just to coddle the listeners? My point is that this music automatically makes this video smell like bullshit. If "serious" music is needed to draw an emotional response, then they are trying to convince you through unnecessary means. If the words are true, no music is necessary. Why not just get to the point?
Musical elements accentuate the message. It's not some deep thing. If content like this was aimed solely at the most stoic and high attention individuals, how would it spread?
@Unhinged Schizoposter why does it need to "spread"? That's exactly the problem. Religion uses music to "enhance the experience" of vulnerable people as well. Nothing wrong with voicing an idea. Nothing wrong with music. But to use this music to attempt to establish an emotional connection with a viewer is just that... Why not play generic bluegrass music? This music was chosen for a very specific reason. Somebody had to sit down and say, "Yeah! That's the music that will convince them this is some deep message". Also, I feel like this video could have been much shorter and to the point. Lots of people want to be the leader of a cult. Mostly people that l9ve hearing themselves talk. Anyway, this "message" is hardly reaching a vast population at this time. With or without music.

What's the point of the background music in the video?
