I feel like that’s the best bet it’s like the 4k series and 5k series aren’t even for the everyday consumer it’s so hard to get your hands on one and they are soo overpriced!
Were you able to close the side panel with the gpu power cable connected? I just picked up this card and I’m trying to find a case that it fits in since it’s so huge.
No 50 series stock available anywhere in the US for consumers. But at least all the tech reviewers seem to have received multiple versions of the 5080 and 5090 for their own use…
I got mines yesterday at my local micro center. Waited 14 hours in line in the cold for it with some other dedicated gamers, but we did it. And today a shipment of 5080’s came in the afternoon. Just gotta stay vigilant and stock will slowly appear. The 5090 is a crapshoot though
Because I would love if you could do a build with the Lian li o11 evo rgb with Lian li fans and make it around 2000 pounds because that’s what I’m planning on getting
@@GeekaWhat about 15-20 came in stock shipped and sold by Amazon today (not all at once of course but theyd come in like bunches of 2), managed to snag one at msrp.
It should be this *Not that it offers 3 - 5% increase on performance from its predecessor, it is also priced now at 1000$ - 1500$ what an amazing card, truly magnificent 🤡
@@Jaristandbeeld No it's not great, think the original 4080 was 12 GB with 17% performance gain from 3080, the 3080 was 699$ msrp and the 4080 12 Gb was set to be 899$ see how small the performance uplift it was before Jensen changed it because of the criticism the card have received. Now due to criticism the 4080 16 GB now has 49% perfomance uplift compared to the 3080 but the worst here is it was priced at 1200$ which was approximately 71.1% price increase from 699 msrp. Now the 5080 is the next gen card right?, when you say next gen it is expected to outclass the previous generation, but it is only 3 - 5 % performance uplift from it's predecessor, do you think that is great? You know what's the worst part? Even though it was announced that the card is 999$ msrp, the card is being sold for 1300$ - 1500$ across all stores because Nvidia knew there will be inflation and now peoples mind are programmed that it is 999 msrp and when people go to stores they will be like "what 5080 is now 1300$? Nah it's okay it will be just an additional 301$, I'll will still buy it since I'm here anyway fck my tuition fees and my food savings for a month, I can ask help from mommy and daddy to survive", and people are not being aware that the performance is not even close or greater than that of a 4090 which was msrp'd at 1599$. The reason why Nvidia keeps doing this is because people sees 3 - 5% performance gain great, despite the price increasing from 60 - 99%. So, even though the next 80 series let's say 7080 will be priced at 6999$ with only 2 - 3% performance gain from it's predecessor people will still be "Oh this is a great card!" and it will be the same cycle.
You are at 1715 before you add tax and video card. 5080 on US Amazon is going for 2500 right now You are at 4215+tax ($4531) Most people are not going to drop 5K on a computer after you add monitors. Most people right now are still trying to figure out how to pay their normal bills. You are completely out of touch with the rest of America since you are sponsored and thus not having to pay for your own shit.
hey man! first time pc builder here, I had originally bought a 850W psu for my new build (still buying parts currently) and it was supposed to be for a 4080super, however, things have changed and I just recently pre ordered a 5090 instead, quite a huge jump. I looked at pc part picker and it says my build had an estimation of 810watts, will i be able to keep my current psu or sell it and get a 1000W? forgot to note that i just bought this psu 1 week ago, so i guess i might be able to return it in or trade?
The disgusted face u made when you smelt the package and said it's from Asia is not so polite.. it's derogatory quite frankly 🤔 Let's not Mr Jay.. The build was 🫳 eerh, ok for the most part. Nothing special.. Feels like I've seen it before and will definitely see it 15 more times. 5.25/10 ⭐
Yo geekawhat can u make a 2000 white build with msi 5070ti (white version), ryzen 7 9800x3d and the gpu is vertical
5070Ti isn't out yet lil bro
Getting rtx 5080 gaming trio at 2000$ and 9800x 3d at 580$ here in India. The price of the card is insane.
In Sweden 5090 costs 3500$ and 5080 costs 1800$
9800x3d is roughly 650$
Very nice “Out of Stock Edition PC Build” 👍
Good luck getting one
Pro tip: replace 5080 with 7900xtx or 4080 super for better value
The problem is that the 7900 XTX and 4080 Super are way above MSRP in most places, which makes them tricky alternatives 🫣
@GeekaWhat yeah not a good time to build a PC now unless you buy used which I did got a 7900 xtx for 725€
@@duarteribeiro1520I'm glad I got a 4080 Super for close to MSRP before the launch of the 50 series in case I couldn't get one. My plan worked.

can you show case glass between the 5080 card?
its 151mm with wire almost hit the glass
For what is the power Connecter on the bottom?
Love your vid’s bro
I rlly like ur vids thx man
Thank you :)
That PC is fantastic ! What a huge GPU
This is awesome 👌🏽
$5000 for a 5090 here in Australia 💀💀
It’s 6k in my state😭
Why is the title "SR159"?
Were you able to close the side panel with the gpu power cable connected? I just picked up this card and I’m trying to find a case that it fits in since it’s so huge.
Did you remove off the plastic from the ssd cooler ?
You really put the glass on in the last or cant do it?
Nice 👍
You cant get any 50 series in Canada. The stores didnt even get 1 5090.
8:16 did you just installed the side fans as exhaust? 👀

Terrible market right now. I’ll wait. Still got my 3080ti, 9700k and 32gb ram pc kicking ass in most games @ 1440p.
Do you know were I can get the 5080 founders edition because I can't find them at 1000 dollars
I went for MSI MPG Z690 and 5080 GAMING TRIO OC WHITE.
Nice build I wish I could have the card for less than a fortune.
Will you add some 5080 builds to your geekapc site?
Yes! Hoping to have some live in the nest 3-4 weeks (as long as we can get some 5080 stock too!)
@ awsome can’t wait to take a look at them and potentially get one for myself 👀
You do it again... Ram is not compatible with that CPU why??? it is compatible with 7xxx series cpu...
Just built my first pc ever thanks to your videos
Amazing! Enjoy the new build!
HOw many RTX 5080/5090 have you received over the last month for testing?
One 5090 and one 5080 Founders Edition from NVIDIA. This MSI unit is a loan and is being collected on Monday next week
@@GeekaWhat thank you good sir
Hi guys, can anyone tell me the model of those Corsair fans?😢
QX120 :)

Depends on the build! 😉

Have you ever done one like that or would you ever be able to do a build like that
Msi is great, but msi center software is painful…
£1150-1450 for a 5080 is fucking crazyyyyyy!!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I would just change the CPU to 9800X3D, the rest is perfect.
For gaming that’s a great shout (though as I said in the video, the hardest task is buying one!)

$3000 Gaming PC Build????? On what planet? Only that 5080 + 9800x3d are 3000 euro and with the rest of the parts you go easy in 4000-4500 euro.
Check my latest video :)
@@GeekaWhat For what, for another $3000 Gaming PC Build lie?
Why do people still buy nvidia gpu when we know they use fake frames with dlss, native they struggle to show any improvement from previous generation
Stupid question, do you buy the fans three times or just once?
Yes but you can buy a pc case with built in fans. I have a Antec c8 argb that looks the same but has argb fans built in.

You can go for 1000 watts buddy, or 1200 watts so that there will be enough headroom for your other components. I don't think 800 watts is enough
