would this work with the Akai MPK25. and will it work well for more on the hip hop side.

Do you know how to set pitch wheel on my lauchkey?
Marcel Mordaszewski Late but in FL studio make sure in midi settings you have the launchkey selected as input and port 165. Then for the Pitch wheel or any other control just right click on what you want to adjust on screen and click link to controller, and move the wheel or other control. It should now be linked.

What is that vox sample you use a lot (that 'hey' sound that's kinda TM-88ish)? Is it in your kit?

I think so. Omnisphere 2, that is. Plus there's a ton of killer expansions/add-ons.
just got omnisphere and I seem to spend more time in it compared to my Komplete 10, synthmaster

Right now I use a cracked Fl Studio, so i want to buy FL Studio first and upgrade my PC then eventually decide if i should go ahead and spend the 500 on Omnisphere. It seems to be worth it and a lot of songs i like have used Omnisphere.

the "gui" is great. nothing turns me off more about a vst that has a complex futuristic gui that I can't understand. that's why companies like synapse, spectrasonics, uvi, and even u-he started making sample gui's so people can understand them. hell I'm working with spc arcsyn right now having a difficult time understanding that MOD matrix but it looks good :/
