Thanks for your videos mate - watch them on the big tv with my 2 teenage sons - they look epic (& my eldest says they relax him). Love the local WA content.
It would be worth going back and having another go. The true part of that track is far from boring ( Mt Wells- White Horse Hill - Albany HWY) awesome terain.
I’ve done the Dwellingup to Chadoora hut. On the way there it was glorious weather. On the way back it was heavy rain. A good chance to use our wet weather gear! I enjoyed the flatness of this section. A nice break from other sections of the Bibbulmun.
That’s true haven’t thought of it that way. Would be a good time to punch out some longer days and/or let the legs rest a bit if you’re doing an E2E. Rain certainly makes for a different experience on trail!
I would return in a couple of years because you missed the best section between Boonering Hill and Mount Wells. I hope they didn't burn everything in that area as the Jarrah forest through there is amazing. I would also like to get your mate's review on using Crocs for hiking :P
Ooohh that’s something for me to look into 🤔 🤔 I’d planned to be out on trail in a few days time but the forecast shows it’s going to be an absolute howler. I may have to wait a couple more weeks now 😩
Hi Josh, you were using a cool looking pit stand at about 2:30(?) with your alcohol stove. I’ve been looking for one just like that - do you remember what it was?
Hey Fayley, it’s just called the mini Trangia & comes as complete set for about $70. You can find other stands on Amazon though for ~$10 with a better boil time and are a bit more compact.
Not sure what’s going on there, thanks for the heads up. They work on every on all the other vids. It’s a Nemo hornet UL 2 person. Awesome tent, you can pick it up dirt cheap at the moment through paddy pallin as they have a store wide 20% discount for the next few days
I can’t tell you how much I love these videos mate.
Thanks mate, as long as you keep enjoying them I’ll keep posting them 😉
Glad to see there's plenty of black cockatoos. Gorgeous.
Love your honesty, it shows your character.
Authentic!!

A new Chanel to me but love the local wa stuff brilliant relaxing videos, nice work!

Rockin the crocs with socks at every o’clock

Josh these vids are awesome! Does your mate seriously do the whole hike in crocs?
Yep, hard to believe

Love the drone work best I've seen on UA-cam done well mate I got a nice hike for you when ya come back.....upload coming soon keep up the good work
Cheers mate, was pretty unmotivated to get the drone up on this hike but is always good to get an aerial perspective. What trail have you got in mind?
@@JoshCarrHikes jane river track! or fincham track or go south coast track! im easy
Nice one again buddy
Thanks mate
Worth the upload for that drone footage alone! No ticks this time? Keep up the good work, mate. Can't wait to see more from the Bibbulmun!
Cheers Mike, luckily no ticks! They seem to dissapear once you cross Albany highway.
Is the Thorsbrone Trail on Hinchinbrook on your list?
Were there lots of bees at Chadoora? That's what I remember from there
Not a single one. Plenty of mice though! Had to hang out bags up out of reach so the suckers wouldn’t run rampant with our food
Doing a powerline diversion is all part of doing the Bibb tho lol ;)
Haha I’ve heard that’s the case from a few people!
Next one better be good mate!! 😆👍 - yeah alcohol stoves can be a bit average. BUT if you know how to make your own fuel it's a no brainer
Ooohh that’s something for me to look into 🤔 🤔

Fayley, also look at the Trail Designs Caldera - which is a pot stand, wind screen combo. Light, simple, affordable
Hi. Enjoyed the video. What's the dehydrated food you used?
Feed the Hike. They’re a local brand here in Western Australia, would recommend them 👍
@@JoshCarrHikes thanks. I'll look them up
Which jetboil do you have?
Minimo
How is he hiking with crocs lol 😂
Your genius links don’t work bro! Which nemo tent is that?
