Great video! I walked the cape to cape in 2017 in late April. Beautiful, warm weather, no rain. Your video makes me want to do it again. Would like to know what your favourite bit was about the walk.
Favourite thing was the scenery beautiful breeze off ocean. Very happy to have spent time dehydrating meals, enjoyed night reflecting on days adventures with full tummy 😊
Cake and Eat it 3 I loved watching so much I am going to watch again later with Mark. You guys rocked it 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👣👣👣👣 Miss B you trooper girl. I’m so proud of you 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 the photos were just stunning. I want to go for a walk now 😆
Thank you for your reply. I have a couple of questions, I often have T. V. P. as i have limited space on my yacht, have you used it or do you need some recipes for it? because its light and very simple to use. 2. Did you recive an certificate or a patch to sew on after the hike ?. I would like to know as i am just starting back into hiking and camping. how often did you stop for a reast break ?. Gerard.
Thanks for the reply. Thats great that you can get those for momentos and a personal sence of atcivement. Thats ok with T.V.P. I thought to mention it as i use it all the time as an protian booster with my meals. Gerard.
Great vid guys just wanted to check with you if the camping grounds were "anywhere you put your hat" or were there specific camping grounds with shower and cooking facilities? where did you guys wash your clothes? Do you think relatively beginner hikers can finish it?
No showers at camps other than if you stayed at a caravan park, camp grounds are first in best dressed/anywhere you put your hat. We had only done a majority of day hikes before (other than macchu picchu) planning will pay off
@@serwombles8816There was nothing we wished we had taken, we even brought one spare lunch (cause we had the meat pies for lunch at prevelly) and a spare dinner just in case we stayed out another day. Washing, in the blog post I explained where we showered and in between we FAB showered (face, underarms and bum) with nappy wipes. Washed clothes when we showered and rinsed where possible. No issues. On the bibbulmun we shall take our scrubba which we note in our blog post too. Www cakeandeatit3.com
@@CakeandEatit3 Thanks for all your advice and help :) haha last question i swear I didnt see in the vid (or missed the section) where did you guys got your drinking water?
