I love finance and the idea of finance but im not very good at math and i dont like it what do you recommend and is there a lot of math in this major?

Hi , I just graduated in an investment degree last year and I genuinely don't know what career path to pursue in this industry. I enjoy the stock market and learning about the mechanics and technicalities of how it works, but I enjoy interacting with people. I don't know what career path I can pursue that incorporates some degree of both 😢

Portfolio management and Most Finance front end roles lol and in the most profiles are types of sales in the end in finance Investment banker or any high finance roles

Hi Nash, I’m a rising sophomore and am planning on switching to Financial Services. I was gonna do accounting but took a couple classes and didn’t like them. However, are finance classes similar to accounting classes? How connected are they? What exactly do you learn about? Did you like it? I took a business math class where we learned about bonds and NPVs and interest. I’m guessing Finance is more like that than accounting but I’m not sure. I’m not a huge fan of financial statements and things like that. Just trying to get a feel for it because I won’t get to take a Finance class until next next semester. Thanks!
I’m planning on doing Finance because I like numbers and am more introverted so I wouldn’t mind a desk job. I think talking to people all day would burn me out quickly. However, I was surprised when I started studying business in university because I’m an analytical person, but I haven’t found the business classes super interesting. I feel like it’s a lot more business terms/concepts that I never heard of in high school than doing math that’s challenging enough to keep me intellectually stimulated. I just hope that as I keep going I become more interested in it and like the job I end up getting! I tend to be very indecisive haha

I am definitely loke that too, I get burned out by talking to people all day. I currently work as a financial analyst where I'm behind a desk and I still get to talk to people but not enough to burn me out
@@bea_v_l finance is more about financial analysis ( you analyze the financial statement to see for example if the company is going good and take some decisions ) you can also learn how to compare between two investements to see which one is profitable for the company. you can also learn about financial markets ( bonds..) it's a lot more different than accounting but still depends on the information provided by the accounting departement of the company.

Depends on the country and the market you're working in. It is good but people with masters will be ahead of you and will get a better pay and compensation
