    The symptoms can be managed sometimes. The disease can be managed to a point depending on what form of MS you have. People still die from it everyday or symptoms directly caused by it. And ms can become more aggressive weather you take your meds or not. I think she needs to get in touch with the National MS Society and talk a little more with her doctors. This is a couple of years old, hopefully she’s learned a thing or two since then. That just because that’s what her experience has been doesn’t make it fact. Not everyone who takes or shouts immune suppressive drugs into their system stays better, progresses, or gets worse for that matter,. It all depends on the person and the disease itself. Has nothing to do whatsoever on whether or not you take your pill or inject your treatment every day. Sometimes you stay the same sometimes you get Starley worse sometimes you get worse really fast and you die. I don’t know this just struck me as she’s trying to make it like it wasn’t really a big deal or not important and I’ve had enough of that .it is a big deal and if people took it more seriously it would be cured already.

    My Mother now passed away was misdiagnosed in the UK with MS
    after 30 years of medication eventually she saw a specialist and could find no evidence of MS
    similar symptoms but it was her spine was collapsing a scan showed up but by then she was too old for any treatment

    I'm just watching stars from my favorite old TV shows these days to see how they've changed. Sad to find out she has MS but at least she still looks and sounds very youthful. Pretty much exactly like I remember her. Mischa Barton on the other hand... her voice just sounds so dull and worn down. :(

    It’s just diet. MS is a lipid metabolism disorder. Look up diets by Roy Swank, George Jelinek, and Terry Wahls.

      @melissajessup1466 4 роки тому +8

      Wow.... just wow. I hope you don't have MS and have been told this because I assure you that you're wrong. I know because I do have it and although having a healthy diet can definitely help your symptoms it is absolutely not the sole reason. MS is an Autoimmune Disease and there is no cure. I have to get infusions of Ocrevus, I eat a healthy diet as well as physical therapy and excercise and I still have symptoms and relapses. Please don't speak on something you clearly don't have a clue about. Educate yourself, sspecially if you have this horrible disease.

    I bet her diet includes aspartame, which brings on MS. Aspartame is in the diet drinks, all the chewing gum and breathmints. Watch Dr. Russell Blaylock's video on Exitotoxins, Neurotoxins.

    Sorry, but I'm not buying her diagnosis of MS at this time. I think she could have been misdiagnosed. I see ZERO symptoms of MS after 15 years. She claims her symptoms are generic things like 'getting tired' and being 'unable to run anymore.' I'm not saying she doesn't have MS. But so far, her symptoms are not compelling indicators that she, in fact, has MS.
    There is no lab test for MS; the diagnosis is what's known as a differential diagnosis (i.e. a diagnosis by process of elimination).

      Wow. She had demylination on her MRI as well as antibodies in her lumbar puncture of her spinal fluid. That combined with symptoms is her diagnosis. Hopefully when your armchair practitioner days are over you can find some humility.
