The file directory to the obs is C:\Program Files\obs-studio
If the multiple outputs is not showing in obs, Go to the top left of your obs that says Docks, And find Multiple Outputs

this is the third video ive seen showing the same set up for the plugin but when ive been doing it i have twitch as secondary and when i start stream for twitch it shows only my offline thing but shows that im live but then when i go to vods it appears that everything worked from there

Thank you, I'll need to set it up seeing that restream is incredibly expensive for a non-professional streamer who just wants to hang out with his friends while playing games.
how to set title and description for youtube and twitch when streaming using this plugin? i've logged in with my youtube as primary and at pluggin insert twitch, for some reason the tittle i put at broadcast only showing in youtube, at twitch showing the previous title which i streamed at twich.
You change the details on the streaming service dashboard page itself.
If you are looking for a more automated solution i highly recommend the restream solution mentioned in the video.

Hi! Thank you for video! I have a question about streaming to UA-cam via plagin. Befor I press start, I believe I need to start stream in UA-cam studio, it won't start otherwise? I've tested and it looks like it's working this way. Or it's possible to start stream and do not do it in studio beforehand? Because for Twitch I just press start and I'm live.
In the youtube studio there is a switch to enable for "auto start stream". Then the stream will start as soon as it gets any signal from OBS.

How do I properly enter the RTMP server for twitch? I went to the page im supposed to find it on, an tried inputing it into the plugin both with and without {stream_key} at the end like stuff says. but when I go live, twitch doesnt work.
You have replaced the stream key with your actual stream key?

When. Using the plugin and setting up twitch vod track, yes.
Nice video! Helps a lot. But one question. Does it need more resources from the cpu or any other hardware? Or is it really just the upload who has to be good enough
As so often in life it depends. You will need some additional resources to send the stream to multiple destinations that overhead should be below 5% tho
However as soon as you change any of the stream settings when setting up the additional destination you are basically running another encoder just for that.
With 2 streams you would basically double your load.

I have enough upload speed for 2. Is streaming on UA-cam and twitch on obs at the same time better than restream if my internet can handle it? Are there benefits between one or the other?
When it just comes to just multistreaming there is not much of a difference. However Restream add some nice features that might make it the better choice.
One of the things I like a lot about the restream method is that restream is recording the entire stream in the highest quality and allows you to download the stream afterwards to for example cut a High-Light video. Also the fact that you can controll all stream titles and chat from just one website is a big Plus in my books
Long story short if you can afford to spend a little money on multistreaming restream is the way to go.

If you are referring to the twitch vod track, no that is twitch only.

I need help. Where do I get the RTMP URL? From youtube? Do I have to already be live streaming?
You find it in the Livestream Manager dashboard when creating a new stream.
Since youtube can handle a higher stream quality, is it possible to stream on twitch with a lower bitrate while having my youtube stream with a higher bitrate?
Using the OBS plugin, yes, using third-party services, no.

Hi how to stream with different overlays on the other platform? Ive seen lives where in one stream ie twitch is one overlay but then on their youtube is a different overlay how to do that?
Run a second instance of OBS. However this will require double as many system resources than just one.

I installed the OBS plugin and added it to the folder, but when I open OBS the extra window doesn't appear. The version I installed was for 0.2.8.2 but the OBS version I have is 29.0.2. Does the version of the plugin affect OBS?
Alternatively, you should be able to open the window from the Docks' menu point in the menu bar.
The plugin should still be working on V29. Make sure the plugin files were placed into the right folder(s)

yes the stream key is the RTMP key.
UA-cam can be tricky, as you can set up multiple streams with different keys at the same time in the studio.
Have you tried testing UA-cam first / built in source?
@@GreenBoxMedia UA-cam works as my primary streaming source just fine. I was going to try to link Twitch as a second but then I wasn’t sure what the URL link would be when I was looking through the settings. I was only finding the stream key and that’s it.
@@GreenBoxMedia never mind, brain fart. I guess the URL is standard and the stream key is unique. I’ll try it that way!!
@@Rogerh3 check the twitch help page. The Twitch RTMP Address is a combination of the twitch server domain and your stream key embedded in it.

The stream key, go to the creator dashboard on twitch then click stream then you’ll find stream key and press copy, use your twitch to change the title.
Will the plug in version work with OBS studio ver 29.0.2 64 bit?

If you use different encoding settings for your destinations, you also need better hardware, Otherwise just network / Internet

Yes you can, see the audio settings inside the destination.

You hit the record button as well as the stream button.
does it work for stream labs or is there another one for stream labs?
For Streamlabs this is a paid feature where you need an active prime subscription.

Not really 16Mbps is a rather optimistic value might be even lower in real life.

Depending on the service you are using it should be somewhere in your user account together with your RTMP key. Alternatively googling your service name + RTMP server url should also bring a result.

Depending on for what platform, you usually find them in your user profile. A short google search for "plaform + RTMP Key" should get you the exact result 👍

You get the links from the service you want to stream to. Usually from a settings / options page.

Depends on which of the two methods you are using. In the video I do a math example. You can apply it for your usecase as well.

You find the key i side your twitch user account. There are also FAQ entries explaining it in more detail when googling for it.

@@Anders_Hunting The server depends on your location. You have to use the Twitch Ingest Server list and pick the one that is close to your location. stream.twitch.tv/ingests/
how to get twitch key url?
Go to the setting on your Twitch account you should see the tab where you can get it. Also when you sign in on obs it allows you to obtain the key from the source itself. Go try it now then come back if you need help

When I stream to Restream it makes another youtube stream apart from the one made using the plug in
So it gives me 2 streams on youtube
Seeing as restream makes it easier to combine chats Im am wondering how to solve this issue of have an extra youtube stream?
With UA-cam there are two types of Livestreams there is the 'one' main Livestream and set up events.
When you set up a new stream using restream and you create an event you usually create a new Livestream event on UA-cam with an unique rtmp-key.
Before you go live on restream you can use the settings of your destination to select to what stream you want to stream on UA-cam. It's a little complex at the start. There is probably a good restream help article explaining UA-cam events in depth.

Try installing the plugin using the manual method. Where you place the files on the according folders. Looks like it was not correctly installed

When using the identical encoder settings (what I show in the video) then the extra power consumption is minimal. However it will cost extra power sending it to multiple targets.

If installed correctly you can also open the window through the OBS Menu Bar at the top.

You skipped way too many steps for this to be a viable tutorial. I have no idea where you got the UA-cam stream key.
From the UA-cam stream page. It's the first thing you see when creating a stream.
I intentionally left this part out as it is a tutorial on the plugin and not the streaming platform. Also not everyone will use UA-cam so this might result in inconsistent information.

Its the place you insalled OBS in. You can choose / change this by uninstalling and re-installing OBS
