Bukhara was the centre of learning of the world second to only Baghdad during the Middle ages when Europe was in dark age
the central asian aesthetic is just incredibly cool. Got the mix of Turkic and Islamic with a nice touch of east Asian.
I am a history teacher and I am going to use these videos teach my students about the silk road. Thanks for the awesome resource!
I lived in Uzbekistan until I was about 7. Probably one of the best countries to live in. It’s safe from extremism even nowadays. The people feel responsible for keeping their country clean. And they are extremely hospitable as are people from all over Central Asia. Anyone that visits will have a amazing experience especially the melons.
Marz You are right!!
I lived in Bangladesh until I was almost 8. Left in 1990. The '80s were amazing, Almost Paradise! Most of my ancestors came from Afghanistan. I want to see Central Asia. Beautiful clean masajid and cities. ❤🎉

I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, a giant thank you for taking the time to show the world the Jewish community in Uzbekistan. It means a lot to Jews world wide.
As a Bukharian Jew who was born in Bukhara, I wish you would have gotten the pronunciation right for the name of the city and the people! Still, I appreciate the video shedding light on my hometown, which I haven’t seen since I left as a refugee, but I hope to visit someday to see my roots and my remaining family there. I enjoyed the history you shared, especially how Bukhara did not not succumb to British colonialism, that was cool!
we are originally from uzbekistan and we love your video series on our country!! i think your videos are definitely doing uzbekistan justice!! can't wait to see what's next!
I would love one of those carpets! I have a tiny apartment so I only need a tiny carpet. Hopefully, I find one in my budget when I go to Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan was recently added to my travel wish list but this series has bumped it to the top! 🤞🏼 hopefully going this fall!
Every time i hear bukhara i remember the great scholar of islam imaam Al Bukhari
Bukhari was one of my ancestors, Bukhari was ethic Tajik (Persian ). Tajiks are the ancient population of great Khorasan. Tajiks are the only non tribal non nomadic people in Central Asia , we number 18 mil in Afghanistan , 14 m in Uzbekistan , 12 in Tajikistan n so on . Imam abu hanifa was also a Tajik (Persian ) from Kabul ! , Abu sina , rumi , Al khawarezmi and so many other Islamic scholars come from Tajik peoples
Good job, guys! Being Uzbek, living in the Netherlands, I felt like going home and enjoying my motherland through your videos series. Well done👍🏼Thank you❤

You guys made great video about my lovely Bukhara city. The city with multicultural and multiconfessional very rich history in the whole Central Asia. I hope through this video the whole world will see and learn how to live in peaceful atmosphere in one community in one common home which is named city of Bukhara. Thank you guys so much for your wonderful video. I appreciate you!
Very good presentation and good sharing. Thanks 😘😘👍👍🇲🇾🇲🇾
I’m surprised because I thought they had a million followers at least or more. Their video quality and editing is so amazing, plus they are fantastic storytellers. Why are so many people sleeping on them?
I love my homeland this is my Uzbekistan ☺️💯👌👍🇺🇿🇺🇿🇺🇿
Tatooine is a real place in Tunisia! They filmed it there and didn’t even change the name. You guys should go check it out. It just goes to say that real life is always stranger than fiction
I was a little disappointed that you didn't get cute hats to wear at the synagogue! But this was all super fascinating and The Ark really blew me away...
According to someone claiming to be, possibly, from the area, I think, Europeans used to send their children to Uzbekistan to be educated. Wow! Wonderful video too!
Hi guys! Thanks you for amazing video and good comments about our homeland Uzbekistan. And I wish to see you next time in our country again. Respect.
Heey guys I hope you had an awesome Sunday. I am so glad to see your next video which is about my country 😍love it.Good luck and always welcome to Uzbekistan😊
You are the most intellectual travelers I have ever seen, you made me convinced to visit Uzbekistan.
The sheer details of these buildings are just tantalizing to see!
It looks like a place from Game of Thrones
For sure!!
I can recommend several places similar to the Game of Thrones:
Karpniki castle - Riverrun;
Książ castle - Highgarden;
Malbork castle - Red keep.
If you like castles, you must see the valley of palaces and gardens and the trail of eagle nests.
No that's Croatia mate.
Just discovered you guys. The production; editing, information, filming etc. is just incredible. Really wow.
Thank you!! Welcome to the channel 🤙🏼
Welkom tu uzbekistan🙋♂️
It's just super rich. The culture, history. I wish people find love towards each other as could be seen in synagogue. Aah, the minaret climb. I wonder what the minaret is called locally dear Vagabrothers... Much appreciated. The rugs, carpets, so tempting.
Is amazing to see my great grandfathers picture in that synagogue. Thank you for this.
Thank you for these videos. It is very nice that you give everyone a very true story about Uzbekistan. God bless you.
As a Jewish person this was very informative a special to watch. Thnks.
I’ve always thought this part of the world to be mysterious and lost in time. Excellent work!
Thanks for the video guys. This video brought me childhood memories. Btw I remember the guy from the synagogue , he used to work in a local market ages ago ☺️
Amazing work guys! Thanks for showing this amazing place that I didn't even know this beautiful, Uzbekistan. InshaAllah one day I'll visit. This whole city looks like it's from Assassin's Creed!

Woww..I like you country Uzbekistan....Mashaa Allah
Honestly, you make the most informative travel videos on youtube! i loved your chat with the lady at the rug store and the feeling you're giving of a totally new and unfamiliar country!
I'm a proud bukharian jew. My parents grew up in bukhara but moved to the US in the early 90s along with many other bukharian jews at the time. Very few bukharian jews remain in Uzbekistan today.
Beautiful cities Bukhara
Another great video guys, enjoyed it much,it’s a part of the world we don’t see much of on UA-cam. Good stuff.

Hands down, you are the best travel vloggers on UA-cam. You are a whole different school of directing and filming.. Every single frame is a masterpiece.. All love from Cairo😍😍👏👏👏👏
In Bukhara now! Learned a few things from your video, thanks!
I loved this show. First time watcher, but it was a great reminder of my trip there in the early 90s, and especially your visit to the synagogue. The old ladies from the synagogue came out and rescued me late one night when i had overstayed my visa and a cop stopped me in that maze of streets near Lyab i Houz. They simply interviewed and didn't let him arrest me. One of many stories from the 'Stans. I'll be sure to watch more of your travels.
Awesome video! 😁 Really want to travel more now
Muy interesante , tus fotos y también lo que relatan de cada lugar. Gracias, estaremos por allí en el mes de octubre .Nos preocupa el clima!
Hey guys ! Thank you so much for this series, which is just awesome ! My brother and I are going to Uzbekistant in August and I was wondering how did you guys do when it comes to communication since I read on a couple of travel blogs that most of the locals do not speak english ? Same question for the transport from one place to another, train ? car ? Last but not least, what about the dinner with the jews and going to the top of the minaret, you had a jewish guide and you paid an extra couple of bucks to go to the top ?
Again, such a great series although it's always a big pleasure to watch one of your video ! Cheers !
Letscher Kevin, Young generation is focusing on learning English cuz of globalisation! Better to make local friend to show u around the country! Our society is very hospitable, no need to pay extra 4 being guest! Feel free to contact me if u want
Big thx guys, I'm flying to ousbekistan in two weeks and you gave me a fantastic preview, best of luck for both of you
Watching this video feels like traveling back in time. I love the place.
With the amount of passion the young Jewish guy was beating the drum with his finger I feel like my fingers will hurt just after 30 sec.
Great video though❤

Thanks for making such an amazing video about Bukhara! It is good to see more people are visiting my home country now!
Wow. Speechless.
Amazing! I think this is one of your best ever series, mainly because the country is so unknown and you are doing a fantastic job of highlighting it's interesting history and cultural sights. Really well done!
Star Wars Tatooine is actually in Tunisia's city of Tataouine! looking forward to your trip videos in there :)
Beautiful country! Wow! I had no idea. Great video!
Great video. I went to Bukhara as a little boy in early 90's when we lived in Uzbekistan, hardly remember much but was a beautiful place with beautiful people. Loved the test of fruits. Hoping to visit the place again.
Great Hosts thru this magical @ beautiful city of "yesterday" @ today.
Wow !!!
What a great point: Three religions in one place. Thanks for sharing it. It is important
to point out that: Uzbekistan is not Islamic Country. Uzbekistan is Sovereign state, a secular, unitary constitutional republic. Religion of majority, 88 percent is Islam but still not Islamic Country, this distinction in government makes a huge difference.”
I can't wait to visit this awesome city
