Hi Ray, thank you for your comment, i would love that all the sounds would be natural, but in reality they are not. I put music on mainly because of 3 reasons: 1) The clips show someone peeling a log, but in the background (you cant see it in the clip) someone else is working with chainsaw and/or something else, it's a working site, not one man building his log cabin alone in a woods. 2) Some clips are speed up and the sounds speed up are not nice to listen to 3) Some clips (gopro clips or drone clips) have no sound Also, sometimes we get comments, the music is great, so I try to balance it out, and go with what I think is best for a given situation. I built a log home in 1989. I used a "D" log with double tongue and groove joints. I had a catalytic wood stove that could keep inside temps at 72 F when the air outside was -12 F. It could do that on one trip to the woodpile. Paying for the triangular glass panes for the roof ends was painful.
Beautifully presented and very interesting, but the beauty and charm of such a construction is somewhere in the mountains not crowded among other constructions. Out of curiosity, I wonder how many trees were planted instead of the ones cut to supply the wood used in the construction of the log cabin?
Many thanks! Our company plant trees for for every one that we use in for the house builds. Especially for this build the trees were a donation from the Sodražica County (small village in Slovenia), so we can't say if they planted new trees for the ones that were cut for this house. In the future on this channel we will make a video(s) about planting trees. Thanks for asking.

Wow! you guys are amazing. Truly the ART of home building! What does it cost to build something like this in the US. Not a rich American however I would love to work hard and save to have something this beautiful.
Its a nicer house than the last, I think the commander is a little wood crazy n the head ! cement and rebar are the best houses. Because they do not swell or bo's...Wood warping is deformity in wood occurring when the moisture content of different parts of a piece of wood changes unevenly. When one part of a wooden board dries faster than another, for example, the drier part shrinks faster and causes stress that changes the shape of the wood. With CEMENT their is no change in the materials and rebar makes it extremely strong. I admire your hard work and love of natural products. I could be wrong tho

What species of trees are you using to build these log cabins please? Very pleasing to see the use of wool as insulation. Wherever hammer and nail are employed using a bit of wool will stop splitting and cracking of beams/wood. Selah
This one is mostly spruce, we know how much the tool costs, we had to buy every one of them, and someone will say you can find cheaper, and we tried that too but cheaper tools didn't last long.
29:05 that's just bad lol, I understand using scraps and offcuts, but that's just a bad job. Also when installing roofing planks you should consider staggering the joints. It will be stronger that way

It doesn't really matter with this roof construction so they shave off some minutes by not doing it.
