You did an awesome job! Great teamwork! Excellent workmanship! That tree falling on it proved it's strength! You should be very proud, that will stand the test of time! It'll be there 150 years from now easy!
Y'all please check Hugos paws more often PLEASE!!! ONE OF THE LAST TIMES YOU SHowED HIS PADS AFTER A longer run and they were almost bloody. That snow can get like glass after to a long run. We all love him like you do. Just check him!!!
Any dugout cabin needs one thing more than anything else and that is under-floor drainage runoff. This will ensure groundwater is drained away from the dugout and not collected underneath. That way, you will not have moisture that could cause mold growth. Also, it is a great idea to come to the dugout cabin at least twice a month, stay for 2-5 days, and heat it the whole time while there in the winter/spring to help keep the cabin dry.
Thank you for the advice, but I think it wouldn't have helped her either, and we came much more often than you say, once a week, we lived for three days
@@ThadEkle-jg3kn: Goes along with unsolicited comment, eh? Maybe the advice is from one who has been there and done that? This also was to assist in dugout planning, if for nothing other than others who might want to do one. BTW, what do you have to offer that would be helpful?
Great build! You’ll were good working together getting all those cuts to fit so well. Another thing, you came prepared to do the job. Had all the right tools. I especially liked that you used the burlap caulking instead of moss. Don’t have to worry about mold..
Hello sasha & misha, so sad that this Dugout eventually had to be dismantled. look forward to future videos of your new project, building your second Log Cabin. 😊👍🏻💚
Hi 👋 Sacha misha 😊great to see 👀 the underground house shelter been built from scratch 💪 to the end 💪 you both worked so hard building the shelter 😀 you both done a brilliant job 😀 👍 and Hugo 🐺 😀 have a good week 😀 Andrew south wales uk 👌 👍 👏
1:51:30 This dugout is incredible! Really well done and brilliantly skilled. Looks warm and comfortable. I have 1 question! Would it be better for some insulation under the flooring? So it isn't cold floor? But everything else is brilliant! We have nothing this good in the UK. Best of luck to you 👍
Finally, your precious dog is getting some care and warmth! Apparently dogs can get arthritis as well being cold weather and they’re pads on there feet can get frostbite,it’s serious guys, please take care of your dog please!

Huh? What do you mean? That dog is living its best life!
You guys are so clever and strong. I admiire all your hard work greatly. You're also wonderful cooks. Many pats and cuddles for hugs for Hugo doggy. Glad the weather is not so bad. You both deserve to do very wel'. Good to see how your friend helps out too. He's wonderful. Your weather changes o quickly from summer to snowing again winter style. You are all amazing how you survive the extreme cold. Can't believe how much you have achieved. I always look forward to your new shows. Best from down under in Australia, David
This is the dugout you dismantled, not a new one. A tad confusing for some viewers, including myself. Still, super interesting watching how you guys work , cook and eat together. . I'm looking forward to watching your new build. All the best, Patrick
Build something for yourselves that will last the rest of your lives as you only get your youth for a little while before the body starts to hurt and breakdown and cannot do what you do now anymore. Love to watch your workmanship. I need 25 log posts replaced on my patio at my house. You guys could do it in a day! lol.
Amazing build guys , thanks for sharing, I was wondering how many years do u get out of such a build ? again thanks for sharing , it’s extremely appreciated by dreamers who have absolutely no ruddy chance of ever realising such a build 🙁 👍👍
👋 friends ‼️ this is your friends from Mississippi, USA. We too watched all your vlogs building the dugout. This recap was awesome ❤️ you guys have a great week‼️
As I am watching I am thinking this would never work where I live in SE Alaska. It would be like building a covered swimming pool. We always look for high ground, but maybe by some of the aerial shots, you could find no high ground. Also, tarps do deteriorate quite quickly -- maybe five years and they will start to leak. Still, I will keep watching to see how this works out. I looks like it will be quite cozy in the winters.
Friends, we recommend watching the video in accelerated mode in x 1.5
I refuse.
I'm not going to miss a thing !
Warum sollte ich ... ?
👍👍👍
if you are not happy with the speed , go somewhere else
This is much closer to broad spectrum craftmanship than "building a simple shed" in the forest.. Truly impressive, truly inspiring
I agree. I rarely see a tape measure in this type of video . Would have loved to hear them talk a little though.

I watched you build it over the last year. Now, I'm waiting to see you rebuild it in a better spot.
This was a great video. The dugout was such a lot of work & was so lovely inside. I am looking forward to your new build.

My favorite part is break time 😊 eating time it's look delicious 😋
Nhà làm đẹp lắm, có điều phá rừng thấy tiếc. Nấu ăn cũng ngon. Nể những người sống xứ lạnh, tuyết rơi liên tục, vẫn tiếp tục cất nhà.
wooooow good job !
