I put a pipe bomb underneath the vent when the xenomorph comes down it will work out for you believe me just put two of the pipe bombs under the vents so you won't be able for the xenomorph to get you very easily and good luck
I remember that part of the game you can hide were the office is into a corner and stay still and don't move and the xenomorph won't see you until you make a move
@@Matthew_Raymond I think it is part of the actual game, but its not as easy as it looks. I think maybe there is a lower threshold in the mod than is in the base game.
I actually got the alien to retreat back into the vents with the shotgun. Right before it grabbed me I shot it actually damaging it in the chest, & it retreated back into the vents. It was crazy luck, but it only happened to me once years ago.🙄
@@Matthew_Raymond In the base game the shotgun will only stun the alien. The fast firing is by using peek to bypass the reload animation. To do this on keyboard requires you to bind peek to a key quickly accessible between reload. The mod is making the shots do actual impact damage vs merely stunning the alien though. Speedrunners use the stun of a shotgun blast to be able to run through the alien's hitbox in some areas of the game which are really narrow. It's something i've tried myself, but I'm terrible at it.
I always wondered how an Aliens themed sequel of the game might look like, I think this is a cool style of playing that can be expanded upon - so adrenalinic bit still anxiety inducing
I can't wait for Alien: Isolation 2. Wonder if it will take a more action-oriented direction like this or go deeper into survival horror with sparse action elements.
You saw the recent Twitter post from Creative Assembly, right? Cause they do want to make a sequel to Alien Isolation, although I'm not sure if it'll have the same impact when it comes out.
Fun Fact: Normally Gun Fire would be enough to kill the Allien in any movie. But since being able to kill the Alien wold make the Game boring they make the Alien inmortal. Also the Acid Blood of the Alien would dissolve anithing until reaching space.
Yeah it kinda sucks how Aliens turns them into big bugs that can be easily killed. It makes sense if you say that the pulse rifles are just insane powerful compared to regular firearms but the problem is in the film they shoot the aliens with basically 20th century shotguns and pistols and they die just as easily. Definitely an oversight imo
The Alien is complicated... You can kill it with firearms, but it's reflexes and intelligence mean that it tends to fight on even or favorable ground. Also... it's not just about firepower. Marines have training and the Sulaco had been deployed and it's soldiers were battle hardened.
@@neoracer46 the thing is if you have a game controller with a battery pack and you had to put batteries in it makes it harder because if you run out of batteries your dead it always happens to me sometimes that's why I get the Good batteries like Energizer batteries
I just wanna know what mod he’s using cuz when I shot the zenomorph with the shotgun four times it just got pissed and murdered my face. Same with the revolver, shot it 6 times then it killed me. The only thing I can do is use fire to scare it off or distract it with flares and noisemakers.
@@sentientmustache8360 but they were using low caliber ammo for their guns to avoid hull breaches though, nothing like the 10mm caseless explosive tipped rounds for the Pulse Rifles used by the Colonial Marines to pierce armored targets. Although the shotguns they had issued to the security forces were probably intended for aid in riot control and not anything like a hostage situation or terrorist attack.

I do not know for sure which revolver mod it was, but it’s an older pistol_normal file compared to the similar one in the Alien Shooter mod on NexusMods you can get.
That's a *lot* of shot gun ammo to drive the xeno off; 4 per instance. and after all, resources like that are scarce in the game. Ditto for the two blasts of flame thrower fuel needed, or the use of firebomb traps, etc. At 8:14, you should've used a 2nd blast of the flamethrower instead of switching to the gun in the middle of the encounter. Similarly, you could've saved the bullets at 9:30 , since you ended up having to spritz it again with the flame unit anyway. Overall, yes, I'd say this was pretty balzy. But it would've been more impressive if you'd managed to not die.
Has anyone see or know if theres a scale Mod. Is it possible to changle Global Scale somehow? Playing in VR (Quest 3) and her Arms/hands/ people need to increase in size by 3-4 steps. Havent found one. Tanx
