i was heartbroken when i watched hawaii wedding,eddie said that their separated....their love story on their season is real for me forever....i miss you eddie kramer and shauni mcclain,,my favorite lifeguards and couple....im ur #1 fam here in the philippines....i feel 10 years old again,,i was only 10 when i fell in love w/you billy warlock,never get tired watching season again and again and again....
i just started watching baywatch and i am on season 2 episode 10 and i am so upset billy and erika left at season 3. i think season 1 and 2 are good. because eddie and shauni
@@kgrimes842 I honestly don't see any chemistry between Eddie and Caroline. So as Cort and Lani and Leigh and Jason. The pairings from the reunion movie was so random honestly.
I’m from the Philippines too and I used to watch Baywatch as a kid; and I was an Eddie and Shauni shipper. I’m so angry their characters separated. They were my favorite Baywatch couple.
I'm just a regular guy, so on the one hand, I had no problem with the girls in swimsuits. But everything Billy Warlock said PERFECTLY explains why I mainly checked out after they left. He is 100% correct! The early seasons were very DRAMA oriented, that added the "bikinis" as extra. But then the stories little by little became literal ABSURDIST (e.g. chasing ghosts, mutant alligators, etc....) Like he basically said, the stories went from real world substance, to straight up fantasy/sci-fi fluff. It's like I can pretty easily watch reruns of the Billy and Erika era. Because the plots and stories were generally very respectable and believable. But I had VERY little interest in rewatching any of the episodes after they left.
Same. I'm watching baywatch right now. I always saw it on TV and decided to watch it now right from the beginning. First season was definitely the best in my opinion! Second was also good but a lot already changed but now I'm at the third and it made me so sad that they are not in the series anymore :( I hope that it's still gonna be good but it the first two seasons will be the best!
@donmiles4581 the 1st season were awesome. Season 2 were good, as well. As I rewatch the seasons on Pluto TV, I appreciate the early seasons more for their deep stories. I really hated the MV they put into the shows taking away precious storyline away a bit and could've add more of their regular cast into the show.
Funny how the producer said Billy wanted more money, we weren't willing to pay it so he left. It leaves you with the impression Billy wanted more than was agreed and quit when he didn't get it. In reality he wanted what they said they'd pay him, no more. The producer can say well he still wanted more money than we were willing to pay so I didn't lie, and that's true. But he knows full well that what he said leaves people with the impression Billy was after more than agreed and that is shitty on the producer's part.
EXACTLY!!!! the producers were trying to make Billy look bad. And they blamed Billy for Erika leaving. They were trying to throw Billy under the bus. Billy was so cool and respectful, saying Erika is a big girl, she made her own decision. That's class. God bless you! 🙏❤️🙏
When Erika and Billy left the show--I stopped watching!!!!! They were my favorite couple on this show and this show hit rock bottom when they departed. There was no more good stories anymore. After Eddie and Shauni left the storylines were just about the bikinis and sexy bodies especially of Pamela's!!!!
I'm watching this show fully for the very first time on Amazon prime video and I'm sad already that these two are gone . I'm at season 3 episode 4 and I miss them already . I have to say that I loved the first season . I miss Craig pomeroy, gina pomeroy, jill riley , john d cort , the aussie .
so did I ...I loved Billy and Erika...the show became a jiggle show after they left...and David could have stopped this...I am now watching the reruns and as soon as billy and erika leave at the start of season 3....my television set gets turned to another station...hated pamela anderson and that drug addict david chocachee (whatever his last name is...blond guy)
Same!! I rewatch a LITTLE of the Caroline and Logan era too, because there honestly were a small number of good episodes. But besides those, when Eddie and Shauni left......the show did become just gratuitous BABEwatch with almost no real substance! [And given the notoriously HIGH cast turnover rate, many of the actors found that out as well.]
Blame Billy. He wanted what was promised. Quit trying to make him look like a greedy diva. He was not; PLUS, if the writing had been better and deeper, he may have overlooked the pay cut and stayed. Unfortunately, the writing went down several notches, so I don't blame him for bailing. I am rewatching it with my mother right now on Amazon and even she has noticed a decline in story content and character development throughout season 3. That being said, I do love the characters of CJ (Pamela Anderson), Summer (Nicole Eggert) and Matt (David Charvet). They are intriguing and played well, but the stories are not as well written to truly flush those characters out. Almost every episode is about a plot that makes no sense for lifeguards; rather than the characters' personal journeys and relationships to each other. THAT is where the best content comes from. NOT just seeing people in bathing suits; that should just be a bonus, but give me something more. The first time I watched the show when it was on, I stopped watching it around season 6; the stories were not compelling enough for me. If I wanted to see people in bathing suits, I could find that anywhere.

I actually liked them two a lot and the first two seasons were my favorites. I wish Billy and Erika could have stayed at least a couple more years.
