      🤣I wish it snowed down here though but there is a certain luxury to living off the coast (until human season)

    I’m glad there’s no frame damage! I could see were the bumper was tweaked on the driver’s side a bit but it’s not too bad, and don’t sweat loosing nuts and bolts. That happens to me once a week 😂!! Your videos coming up on the head gasket repair are going to be epic man, and your dogs are hilarious especially Jax lol

      YDOC Productions I’m so glad it didn’t hurt the frame! Hoping I can just get the ‘ol rubber mallet or dead blow hammer out and straighten it up and get it back on semi level again, possibly buy a new or find at a salvage yard valance to put on the bottom of the bumper again (guessing the old one was ripped off at some point). Jax the frenchie is a trip, that goofy dog cost more than the dang truck did (thank God I won my fantasy football league to pay for him). French bulldogs are everything you’d expect, funny a$$ clown dogs, they live up to their personality for sure! everything you read about that breed is true, they are fun! But...they fart a lot 😂 and my Australian Shepard Kiari is a trip as well. They make quite the pair!

      3rd Coast OBS haha all the farting would get old lol 😂 but they seems like the best of friends and really awesome dogs lol. And I agree that 5 min. with a mallet will get it straightened it out no problem.

    Jax seems like one mischievous pup! 🤣 great video James. Glad the rail wasn't tweaked 👍

      Yea he’s a trip man, gotta watch him while I’m working...many a Klein screwdriver has gone missing only to be found chewed up a little bit. Hard to be mad at that little fool though, he’s too funny. And very happy about the rail, now it’s time to straighten the bumper with a little persuasion.

    Thanks for the video, I have a 1989 bronco two that needs to have the front bumper replaced; This video will aid in getting the job done faster and easier thanks!

      Appreciate ya commenting brother. I was actually very surprised at the simplicity of the job myself. I expected a lot more bolting and brackets to be involved. These bumpers are not too bad to handle solo either and im sure on the bronco II it'll be a breeze. My dad owned a 89 (I believe?) And I really like that smaller version. He sold it and every once in a while he goes searching online for one because he misses it 🤣. God forbid you try to search for a full size 92-96 bronco, you'd think they were made out of gold with the prices people ask!

      Sparks Fire and Baling Wire lol, brother we’d kill for some cold weather down here South of Houston Tx! I’m in my late 30s and I’ve only seen “snow” 4 times in my life, one of which took a trip to Green Bay Wi to see it 😂. I appreciate you checking out my channel and subbing to me. I’m still in my learning curve of editing and figuring out best ways to get some good footage and not end up with a 30 minute video no one will watch. I think the more videos we post and edit the better we will get. Thanks again man!

    Thanks. Looking at my 94 that I just wrecked (I rear ended someone) I figured it was those 4 bolts. But wanted to double check.
    Say hi to Jax for me lol

    Nice video brother. Let’s face it, most DYI guys have to work by ourselves, so I’d rather see a video of a guy using some common sense to figure things out. I may be pulling my bumper off in near future, so this video definitely helped. I’ve got a 97 F350, but should be about the same. Your 4 legged buddies seemed pretty interested in what you were doing, lol
    Keep up the good videos

      What was bad is I have a slipped disc so even light weights kick my butt during flare ups. Sad thing was that bumper didnt really weigh much at all but it was a learning curve for me 😂. You have the last year of that body style only in the super duty, I love those trucks man! Is it a reg, extended or my favorite a 4 door? Yea that bumper work should be identical to this set up and I see a lot of guys end up just using washers as spacers instead of the horse shoe things I had. I need to straighten mine again and that's the method I'll be using. Goofy dogs lol they love to get in the mix especially french bulldog, had to give them a little screen time to try and boost some numbers in views 😂. Thank you for watching and commenting brother, I appreciate it!

      Yes sir. A 1993 I saved from a barn. I made a video on it but is was like my second attempt at youtube so it's pretty long winded and not very good lol. My Plan is to get it fixed up this year, hopefully will start it in april.

    What did you use to fasten the bottom plastic valence piece to bumper?

    • @3rdcoastobs467
      @3rdcoastobs467  2 роки тому +1

      mine never had one. Guess it was ripped off before I bought it. That being said I've seen the plastic christmas tree connects used, and I've seen a kit sold by LMC and LMR that is used for that piece or a lightning style ground effect piece that's basically a wedge anchor that clips to the bumper and pinches the valance (similar to the clip for the fan guard to radiator clip)and a screw tightens them up. The LMC one I believe is cheaper, you dont need the one designed for ground effects sold by LMR unless you really want it.
