@3rd Coast OBS the grommets for my pushrod cover are so thick the bolts won't thread?? I got a felpro gasket set and they are significantly thicker than what came off. am I missing something?

Where did you buy the head?

Between these two videos and an overly technical video I feel alot more comfortable dropping my column. FYI Ford used that same exact shifter boot through both the Aero Nose OBS (92 - 96) and the Triton (97 - 03) generations. So you can snag a newer boot off a newer carcass

I have the same cap and was installing on a new transfer tank. I was using the cap to thread the pipe into the tank so I wouldn't mess up the pipe threads. I apparently used a bit too much force and it snapped internally and went into free spin mode. I thought I was screwed. Thanks for your video on the solution to removing the cap. It worked great!

I’m in the process of putting everything back together, started putting exhaust manifolds back on and realized i’m missing the “odd ball” bolt towards the front. I was wondering if that’s the only one like that or if i’m missing multiple?

just got my cylinder head off and I was confused for a bit seeing that the coolant passages don't even connect to each other, and was thinking do I even have the right head on my truck but it looks like you have the same thing going as well. I guess them ford engineers know better than me a nobody. guess I'll just keep moving forward with my repairs. glad to have your videos for help and guidance.

Amazing job on your restoration i was wondering if you restored your tube bumper i have a gen 1 with a broken tube bumper im looking to restore or have a new one fabricated and dont know of a shop that can do it

I found it was easier to take the entire pulley, clutch fan and water pump as one unit leaving the hoses conne tex.

Only thing i liked about this ford was the bracket can be undone from one side to loosen head bolts and leverage the head off; then reattached for a handle with that weird bracket on the other side
