One interesting thing to note about the Christ Houlihan room, it was actually designed to be a location you're sent to in the game was unable to determine where you were meant to end up after entering a door. In the handheld versions, all known ways to glitch the game to allow you into the room have been fixed and while the game is still programmed in it's largely accepted as inaccessible.
In The Windwaker, if you help the old lady who wants pigs, she'll give you a red ruppee and she'll say "Don't spend it in one place!" This is possibly a reference to Skyward Sword where, when you open a wood chest, you can get a red ruppee. It also says there "Don't spend it in one place!"

My favorite Zelda Easter Egg was in Link's awakening, if you go into the shop, take an item and walk out without the shopkeeper knowing, you get that item for free. The game then tries to make you feel guilty about what you've done, and throughout the rest of the game, everyone calls you "THIEF". And if you ever go back into the shop the boss music plays and the shopkeeper kills you with a giant laser beam. XD
The stained glass of the Sages and Ganon from Wind Waker are not Easter Eggs. An Easter egg is a pretty well hidden video game feature or surprise. Easter eggs are usually unlocked by using certain techniques to complete in-game tasks, entering specific button combinations or acquiring access to secret game or game file areas and since the stained glass are too easy to find they are not Easter Eggs.
I always classified Easter Eggs as things that aren't immediately noticeable unless you actually investigate your surroundings and notice references from other games
I was so happy when he did the SS Tingle one. I had just found this Easter Egg last week showing the game to a friend who hadn't played it and was like "WOAH WAIT WTF"
I admit, when those cats showed how different they were at night I actually went' Oh god that's scary!' in real life. XDDD And that first reveal is pretty freaky.
Don't forget you can see Orion and some other real constellations in the Zelda world. Orion also makes an appearance in a room or shop in Wind Waker and some of the islands are based on other constellations.

I noticed amongst people i talked to about wind waker, it was either their favorite zelda release, or their least favorite, nothing in between. As a cartoon fan and zelda fan alike, this was byfar my favorite due to the style and expressive gameplay. The sailing was a bit tedious but all zelda games have some element of tediousness. I found the sailing to be the most adventurous despite this. I'll have to play through it again to find these easter eggs.

In Link's house in A Link Between World's, Majora's Mask (or a replica of it) hangs on the right wall in the lower corner, but because ALBW is in a separate universe than Majora's Mask, then it counts as an Easter egg because it's impossible for Majora's Mask to exist in that universe.
When you beat the final dungeon in SS go outside where the sealed grounds was and the goddess statue now is. Look for the point where the floating Island and the entrance to the Sealed Temple meet. Look up and you'll see the 6 medallions from OoT! Also, if you haven't beaten the final dungeon, or went back to the past, go to the bottom of the sealed grounds and look at the rock walls. You'll find the intro story's artwork painted on around the point that it starts spiraling upwards!
Enjoyed this one too man, really a great series, lots of fun! I read recently that apparently people are still finding hidden easter eggs etc in super mario wolrd. It's mad to think there are still hidden treasures out there after all these years!
Really digging the easter egg hunter series James! Found the Wind Waker one with the six sages on the stained glass window to be pretty cool and never notices it when I played through the game myself back in 2003.

Actually, if you had a Link to the Past in 1991, you had it on the Super Famicom, and imported it from Japan, because it didn't get released in America until 1992. NO ONE in America had it for the SNES, except the people in charge of translation of the game, and they didn't have the American one, they had the Japanese one.
If you go to a spot where a triforce piece is supposed to be before your supposed to find it (i.e. right when you get your grappling hook)look at a chart on another saved game where it's at, and try to accuratly guesstamate where it's supposed to be. If done correctly, you'll pull up a peice of crap pot with barnicles on it or somthing of the like, and an enemy will spring up from the water, attack you, and go back under

The Windwaker, I must agree is an amazing Zelda game. I am currently playing it for the second time on the new Wii U Zelda addition where it is in HD with a few changes. I love both types of graphics they do with the Zelda games. Vibrant bright colors or soft artistic ones.
There that shop keeper in LoZ Link's Awakening, who's more than happy to teach you the consequences of shoplifting. Normally, if you grab an item and try to leave without paying, he'll just stop you telling you to pay first. Like alot of NPCs, he turns to face you as you move, but there's an exploitable half-second delay before he does. Enter the shop (he's facing down) Go to pick up the item you want (after the delay, turns to face you) Walk around in front of him, in direct line with the exit. If you activate the dash in the split second before he turns towards you, you can just barely make it out of the shop without paying. The game will try to guilt trip you, asking if you "feel proud of yourself". If you re-enter the shop...he will MURDER you on the spot by zapping you with a lightning bolt. It doesn't help that this guy looks suspiciously like the creepy Happy Mask salesman.

if you can't find the game you want on ebay, you can buy a special case for your gamecube that will allow you to burn iso's to full size discs and play them. Also you could try installing a wiikey fusion to your gamecube to try and play off an sd card.

i know of a easter egg not mentioned in this video break any sign with your sword and then play the first song you learn in the game the sign will magically put itself back together comes in handy if you accidentally break a sign. this trick only works in ocarina of time.
That's not how the Chris Houlian room works... it is a debug room hidden in the game as a default linked with the value for Link's Z coordinate. By using a bomb, you can push Link into one of the bottom two pixels of the screen, which normally would send him into the next area, but instead causes a counter in the game to bug up. Then, the Pegasus Boots are required, as the game does not always keep accurate coordinates for Link's position when using them. By going into any "cave", you are in.
I had no idea that was the way to get to Chris Houlihan's special room. I had done it before without trying and was like, "woah! how did I end up here?" So I kept going back in over and over and it would never happen again. lol I'm about to try it again now. heh heh
I don't know if it's been said yet, but have you noticed in the place where you can get pumpkin soup and knockdown the chandelier, upstairs you can find a Starbit from super mario galaxy. :p

I remember when i got the game cube for Christmas, it came with a demo disk specifically with Legend Of Zelda games and trailers on it, including a 20-minute wind waker demo plus the full game of Majoras mask. I remember playing this shit out of the wind waker demo.

There's a second way to enter the Houlihan room and that is via the hole on top of the pyramid in the Dark World.
